Question:
Back pain lower left side?

I'm about 6 weeks post op (lap band) and am experiencing pain on my left side all the way around to my back. It almost feels like my insides are out of place and is exacerbated by walking and exercise. Is it normal to take this long for the post op pain to subside? You must understand your body better. If you have a pain, you should contact your surgeron asap. This is why they are there for you. We who answer questions are NOT medical doctors. I would not wait. Good Luck

Do you have a urologist or general doc? Questions I'll ask, but you can answer to him/her: do you drink coffee, tea or colas? (caff or decaf), are you slacking on water? did or do you eat a lot of Tums or take calcium carbonate? These answers are for the doc, not me, but info you can use to clarify if you might (or might not) be giving birth to a kidney stone.
