You need to get a doctor to determine that the rash is a hasard to your
health and needs to be addressed. Then your insurance will allow surger to
remove the excessive skin and at that time you can also have Lipo-suction
and remove some excessive fat and tighten the skin. It will be a fight for
coverage, but a good doctor might be able to help you pull it off. He is
going to have to write some strong letters for you.

I am 4 1/2 years out. I could not get my insurance to pay for my tummy
tuck. I ended up paying for it myself. It was money well spent.

I hear that people start by going to the doctor for every single rash
outbreak to have it documented...This was it shows the rash is chronically
a problem for you and many can get the insurance to pay this way. It's jut
a suggestion, as I really do not know if it works, but it made perfect
sense to me...So I thought I'd share...Good luck!

I just had lower body lift and my arms done. Insurance did not pay. My
Dr. said the same... in order for the insurance to consider to pay it has
to be documented from your PCP. Pictures taken of the rash etc. He also
said that you have to show that the treatment your PCP gives you like cream
for the rash you have to show it's not working. Best of Luck

My insurance company doesn't cover the plastic surgery, however, there are
other forms of financing. Ask your doctor.
