Does anyone know exactly howmany hoops one must jump before you get a surgery date

I think we will jump through many hoops before we will get the approval for surgery. I don't have Kaiser ins. so I don't know their policies,but for most you must have psch.eval.consultation with dietician,blood tests and some even have you lose a certain amount of weight. So start jumping!!!!!

Well I had my consultation on may 8th and am scheduked for surgury aug.1st When I went to my consultation I had 3 doctor referals all my medical records. I had also talked to my insurance provider and gave him a heads up that these were my plans. I also think it depends on where your having surgury I am going to BTC. They move pretty quick.
