I'd love to know too! Everytime I'm in the hospital they always want to give Tylonal. And it does'nt do a thing for me. I won't take it. I used to like Anasan. So I just suffer headaches.

You can take tylenol, but as someone else said it doesn't do a THING for me, even extra strength. And don't even THINK about trying the liquid tylenol, it a red syrup that was so nasty I spit it out, all over my clean white shirt and the stain wouldn't come out! Go to your doctor and see if there is something they can prescribe, but make sure it doesn't have any asprin or ibuprophen (NSAIDS).

I take Tylenol or Aspirin Free Excedrin cut in half. As far as the liquid Tylenol goes, I don't mind the red children's, but there is a green adult one that my sister says is nasty.

I'm worried about why you are geting such bad headaches. Please ask your doctor about it.

This may not be the answer to your problem, but the first sign of dehydration is a headache. Try drinking a large glass of water when you feel a headache coming on and see if it helps. It worked for my friend, and it's the easiest (and least harmful) fix there is. Feel better!

i'm sorry you are getting bad headaches, i know what that feels like. I have what's called "chronic daily headaches" it's a chronic condition that has affected me for months now, i now unfortunately find myself irritable b/c of living with this constant debilitating pain. I've had a headache every minute of the day since April now. My point is, if your headaches are getting worse or don't stop, see a doctor! I've gotten every test done, MRI, spinal tap, etc, and am on several different meds. But I hope you find some relief soon! I am 2 months post-op as well!! goodluck to you!! please e-mail me if you want! ([email protected])

I would love to know too. I am really worried about headaches post-op. I take 600-800 mg of ibuprofen twice a day and sometimes more for my sinus headaches, tylenol does nada. Post-op is not going to much fun. I do agree though that if they continue that you need to see your PCP and or the surgeon. Good luck and congradulations on your success so far. I am still waiting for my 1st consult visit with the surgeon.

I am almost 3 months post op. Pre op I took 2 Motrin every day whether I needed them or not! I did it mostly for knee pain but alos for the occasional headaches. Post op I take the liquid tylenol--the "red" one. Its pretty gross but its worth the effort. I had difficulty swallowing the regular tylenol, even cut up.
