Not sure if this helps, but I have a WLS friendly Endocrinologist in
Gainesville, FL. Dr. Bruce Rogers.

I also live in Jax., I went to Gainesville to Eric Thoburn. There are I
belive, 6 surgeons in the group.

I wanted to let you know there is a Weight Loss Surery support group in
Jacksonville, not sure where, but I think you can find it on line. Then,
you can get in touch with people who really know - and maybe attend the
meetings too :)

Hi there!! I live in Jax and my PCP is John Tanner off of 3rd Street by
the beach. Get an apt. with Deborah. She is a doc that works for him in

Yes my pcp and his staff were great. He is Dr. Albert Alzate and his
referral girl, Wendy did an exellent job with my letter of medical
necessity. They have offices on University Blvd, near Memorial hospital and
on Park st.

By the way the support group meeting for Dr. Sooriash is the third
Wednesday of the month, except June, at memorial hospital and is open to
anyone.

My PCP is Michael Sharpe on Normandy Blvd (Westside) he has several WLS
Patients. I think you are asking for a PCP and not a WLS Surgeon right? I
did see where others were giving you the names WLS Surgeons.

My PCP is Dr. Miquel Batlle in Orange Park. His office was great. They sent
everything in for me and documented all my trials and errors!! haha! Good
