Question:
I am trying to find out how much the surgery costs and how much BCBS of FL will cover

I am using Dr. John Nye here in Pensacola, FL. If anyone out there has used him, email me and tell me your experience. I am really wanting to know how much this surgery costs...or does it depend on what surgery I am having?    — Denise P. (posted on July 26, 2002)

Hi! I have BCBS of AL , PPO/ They will cover 80%. but it depends what kind of plan you have! your best bet is to call them and ask!

The last poster is correct, I depends on your companies plan. I have BCBS of fl with the State. It covered 90% of the surgery. I owe my doctor less then $200 and the hospital around $1,000. Both dr. and hospital were in my PPO plan. I owe the Anesiologist (sp?) about $1,200, he was not in the plan.
