Can anyone tell me the name of a Dr. that does LAP IN JACKSONVILLE OR CLOSE??

Clay, your definition of close may not be the same as mine...some patients go cross-country to the surgeon of their choice. Dr. JK Champion (Atlanta, GA) has had a large number of patients from Florida, as well as across the US. He is a surgeon of international reputation who specializes in the lap RNY. Hi. I believe there is a Dr. Hocking in Gainsville, if I am not mistaken he does the lap procedure. The only one in Jacksonville who performs gastric bypass is Dr. Yasrebi, he only does the Open RNY, but he is VERY good.

Dr Hocking does NOT do LAP surgery..he is my going to be my surgeon and he only does open! Dr Overcash in Ocala does LAP RNY! Good Luck on your search!
