Question:
I can't find a surgeon in the cigna ppo network. I am willing to travel. I'm approved

I have Cigna PPO, too. I had my lap RNY with Marc Bessler of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. I don't know how far that would be for you to travel, but he's a good surgeon and his staff is great.

CIGNA PPO paid in-network benefits for my out-of-state lap RNY with Dr. JK Champion of Atlanta GA (web site: www.drchampion.com). Good luck!

I am CIGNA PPO and have surgery scheduled in 2 wks. My surgeon is Dr. Maguire in Dayton, OH. He is in network for CIGNA PPO. He does both RNY and BPD/DS (open only). I do know he sees alot of out-of-town patients but I think that is mostly because he does the BPD/DS procedure and there are not alot of surgeons performing that procedure. I have Cigna and my surgeon is Dr. Phillip Price in Columbus Ohio. He is terrific. He does both open and Lap (mine was Lap) He is a very skilled surgeon.

Dr. Carlos Ferrari accepts Cigna PPO. He is absolutely wonderful. I had the rny Oct. 16/00. I am down 82 lbs
