Has anyone had lap rny surger with Dr. Valin in New Haven CT?

I had my surgery with Dr. Valin on 11/16/01 and I can't say enough good about him. He is an angel, my hero, my miracle worker all wrapped up in a cute little package. I found him to be wonderfully nice, patient and understanding--always pleasant and just an all around great guy. He really treats his patients with dignity and respect. I had surgery on 3-12-02. He started out lap but had to open me because he said he just wasn't comfortable with the job and wanted to be safe than sorry. He said he didn't have enough room in there thinks maybe it was my height, only 5 feet tall. I felt very confident with his abilities and would highly recommend him to anyone. Good luck with your surgery.
