Question:
Is leg pain normal

I woke up this morning with my left calf hurting. With my history of clotting I went right in to the doctor. I was sent to the hospital for ultra sound. Every thing looks good. I also went for blood tests but don't know from them yet. Anyone else ever experience this. I don't know if I trust the results of the scan. It feels like former bloodclots.    — Carol H. Now that you mentioned this, I do remember having leg pains really early post-op. I had forgotten about that, but I had thought it was a blod clot. It was near my calves and lower legs. I'm 1 year post-op now, and it turned out to be nothing, thankully, although I'm not sure what it was due to. Glad you got it checked out and everything already. B/c you have a history, maybe in a few days you could get the tests done again, just in case? Hopefully all will be well again, but maybe that will set your mind at ease. Goodluck to you and hope you feel better.

It may be that you are not getting enough calcium in your diet. I was having pain in my calfs almost everynight in bed and I went to the doctor and he said to up my calcium. Sure enough, I took a calcium supplement and the pains went away. Talk to your doctor first though. Good luck:)

I hope that you find out what the problem is. So sorry to hear of your pain. Bear in mind that lack of potassium can cause severe cramps and pain in the legs.
