Question:
Has anyone needed two endoscopy to correct stoma size?

I have read where some people have needed more than one endoscopy but I just had one yesterday and they stretched my stoma from 5 to a 7 and he told me he would have to do it again in a week to go from a 7 to 9 or 20 is this normal? I haven't had it done but I've heard that the doctors who choose to do it in a 2 step process are actually just being cautious. It can be done in 1 step but the risk of ripping the tissue is much higher. Sounds like you've got a good surgeon.

sorry on my question post i meant from 7 to a 9 or 10 !!!! Thanks for your answers just questioning if i need to have it that large being a 9 or 10.
