Where do I find Twinlabs Chewable Calcium Citrate?

Hi. I purchase mine through vitacost.com. I get a great price ($7.50 per
bottle of 60, which is 12-15 days worth), and their service is very good.
I usually purchase 8-10 bottles at a time. I have seen the same bottle in
a local health food store and they were selling for twice that much. JK,

Joya, or anyone else who knows about TwinLabs, could you tell us how many
pills of these you have to take at a time, how often, and how big they are?
I ordered some chewable calcium citrate off the internet and they were HUGE
HORSE PILLS that were so chalky I couldn't gag the four wafers down! They
were Solaray, no sugar added, orange flavor. Some people, I suppose, might

Tracy, I don't know about the Twinlabs brand but I take a calcium citrate
capsule everyday. They are a little big but they practically dissolve as
soon as it hits your new tummy. I am 6 months post op and have been taking
them since week 8 with absolutely NO PROBLEMS.They have magnesium &
vitamin D too. They are 500mg each of cal. citrate, so I take 3 a day. I
ordered them from vitalady.com. I think it was $15 for 240 pills. You may
want to try these if you have no luck locating chewable ones.

I take two at dinner and two at bedtime of the Twinlab Chewable Calcium
Citrate. They remind me of sweet-tarts and I like them just fine. You can
ask any health food store to order them in for you. I get mine at a local
health food store. Best wishes!

Dear Stacey:
I don't know about the Twinlabs, but I buy Viactiv Calcium Chews at
Wal-mart and they are delicious! They have orange cream (yum!), caramel
(yum!) and chocolate (pretty good). It's like getting a treat every day!
They're about $7.00 for 60 chews at Walmart. Hope this helps.

I like the Vivactiv too...but they're calcium carbonate not calcium
citrate. Calcium carbonate requires an acidic environment to be fully
absorbed...calcium citrate is more easily absorbed once you have your
stomach anatomy changed!

I tried the Twinlab chewables-way too big and you have to get down 4 of
them a day!! Here's something better-liquid calcium. I buy it at
tropicaloasis.com Its liquid calcium citrate-a tablespoon a day, tastes
like bitter orange. Couldn't handle the thought of so many pills a day....
