Question:
Has anyone had to have new dentures or denture adjustments since WLS?

No but its common according to pot ops at our support group meeting.We loose weight EVERYWHERE!

I have a partial plate on my bottom teeth and it has given me so much trouble since losing weight. It was perfect before, now it slips, and hurts and just is bothersome. I have had it adjusted twice and my Dentist said it was just to big for me now, but I should try to wait until I had lost all my weight before I get a new one, or the same thing would happen again. But it's a small price to pay :)

havnt had operation YET but i lost 100lbs 9 years ago and yes...!!!! big time did my mouth shrink

Yes. I wear an upper partial bridge and after losing over 100lbs. I did, indeed, have to get a new partial. I didn't make the connection until I saw my dentist. He complimented me on the weight loss and noticed a whole lot of fixodent!!! He laughed....and took new impressions.
