Question:
Anyone seen chewable protein supplements?

I'm happily chewing my vitamins and my calcium now and sure would love to chew my protein supplements too! :-) I honestly don't mind mixing up my protein shakes twice a day but I'd much rather munch a wafer or tablet. I need whey protein: anything out there in the marketplace? Thanks! - Deborah (open RNY 10/25/03 226 at start)    — Deborah M. (posted on October 26, 2003)

What about protien bars? There are many out there that are low carb - you would have to try them to see what suites your taste. The Detout - OneWay and U-Turn bars taste like candy bars. EAS and Attkins also make low carb protein bars as well as carb control or carbolite to name just a few that are easily available. Good luck - Diane

Look at how much whey powder it takes to make 30g? Just short of 1/2 C. So, mentally compress that into tablets...? See the problem? There IS a protein tablet, takes 3 tablets to = 1g, so 180 pills a day to get 60g and it is not whey. Whey is pretty bitter without help, so you'd have to add the helpers to make it palatable. So, then we're back to trying to put 1/2C powder into how many tablets/capsules? I chase this around in my head regularly, BTW. LOL!

you can make some protein balls! take 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup protein powder, 1/2 cup non fat dry powdered milk, mix up can add enough water drops to make it dough like make out balls and refrigerate, can roll them in cocoa or cinnimon depnding on what flavor protien powder you use i like chocolate best.
