I do not live in Texas but I did a little research for you. Go to the top of any page and click on the "find a doc" link. Choose #2 "Browse the list" and then click on Texas. You will see several surgeons listed and Dr. Horrilleno is one of them If you then click on "view comments" you will see 15 listings of patients and their comments about this surgeon. Also provided is their e-mail address to ask specific questions. Hope this is helpful. This site has some really valuable pages if used and researched to its potential. Shelley

I called Dr. H's (can't spell) office and was told that they would send me a packet of information and that I had to fill it out, send it in to them and if they thought I was a good prospect, they would call me for an appointment. I didn't like this at all. How rude, I thought. I got the information but actually used it for my doctor appointment with Dr. Veneniga (spelling again). I have done alot of research and if you have a PPO, I would suggest Dr. Alexander but I don't and have United so I chose Dr. V. If you have any questions, please let me know, I would be glad to help and GOOD LUCK! Cara

Dr. HOrrilleno performed my open RNY surgery on 4/23/01. He is a very competent surgery with a great bed side manner. He will answer all your questions and give you the time you need. I would highly recommend Dr. Horrilleno to anyone.

Dr. Horrilleno did my surgery on 4/10/01 and I cannot say enough about the man. He is wonderful and truely cares about his patients. His popularity has taken off in the past few months and so, they have changed the way they see patients now. This is to prevent you from having an office visit and you having to spend the money if you are not seen as an ideal candidate. He does not mean this in a rude or offensive way. The paperwork packet he has you fill out is very informative for you and him. It made me face a lot about myself that I was ignoring. If you chose him as your surgeon you will not be disapointed. Good luck!
