Question:
HELP!! ~ I Need help on writing a letter to my insurace co about my Health problems.

Are there any certain ways to format a letter that explains all your health problems, that would look better to the insurance co than to just list them one after another? I have no life threating co-morbidies, but I do have joint pain, back pain, sciatica, urinary stress, shortness of breath, problems sleeping, joint swelling, heartburn, plus all of the life major inconviences of being over weight. Like trying to tie your shoes or wipe your hiney! Just getting up out of a chair or my car take alot out of me! DO they need to know this stuff too? or just the basics? If any of you have a specific format that I may be able to use could you e-mail me at [email protected]..... My apointment for my first consultation is tommorw at 3pm!! Thanks everyone!! www.clos.net has a sample letters for you to send to the insurance company from both yourself and your PCP. My surgeon recommended that I NOT send a letter to the insurance company. He thought that if I were denied, I could use that letter as back up. I was approved first time around, so I didnt even need it. Good luck
