Question:
Has anyone else lost hair other than from on top of their head?

I know that this sounds a little silly, but I am of Portuguese decent, and we have a tendency to be a bit hairy, especially on the arms. I noticed yesterday that I have bald patches on my arms. Is this a normal phenomenon? Or am I the odd one out? I am now 3 months post op RNY. Could I be missing a nutrient, or is this nothing to be concerned about? Thanks, Annie    — Annie R. I am of Hispanic decent and also tend to be a bit hairy..LOL I lost alot on my legs and my arms after surgery. I asked my surgeon and he said that that is completely normal. I am now 15 months post op and the hair is almost all the way back in now, but not nearly as coarse as it used to be. For me, that is a good thing as I live in a state where there are very very few Hispanics, North Dakota! So you can see that this is a blessing in some cases. LOL Good luck on your weight loss.
