It might be a long way to travel for you, but US Bariatrics in Fort Lauderdale, FL which works out of Holy Cross Hospital did an excellent job on me and many of my friends. The program is excellent and they do follow ups after your surgery. There are support group meetings and information sessions you could attend pre op to get more information. They do have meetings in Fort Myers, FL. Go to www.usbariatrics.com and find out about it. I did and I never regretted it. I had my surgery on July 26, 2002 and lost over 200lbs. Just had my six month nutrition class and doctor's visit today. Good luck on your journey.
