I live in NC / looking for a surgeon in NC, SC or VA that does the LAP BAND Surgery

Dr. Jann Holwick, Low Moor, Virginia does the Lap Band as well as the RNY..Her phone number is 540-862-6681. She did my open RNY in November 2001. I am down about 120 lbs.

Our surgeon in Atlanta, GA, Dr. J.K. Champion, offers laparascopic adjustable lap banding, as well as proximal RNY and VBG. He is one of the pioneers of lap WLS and one of the initial few doctors in the US who were approved by the FDA to trial the lap banding procedure when it was new. His web site is www.drchampion.com. I did some researching to find, this I hope that its right: Dr. Kenneth MacDonald and William Chapman do the surgery in Greenville, NC you need to contact Shirley Pekala the RN. The number is 252-816-3341. I found the information on bandsters.net, hope this helps ya.

Hi! I believe that Dr. Eric S. Bour in Greenville, SC does the adjustable gastric band. I know for a fact that he was working with the maufacturer of the device to become approved to use it. You can reach his office at 864-240-5035. Kim can tell you if he is actually performing the procedure yet.
