Deena is doing great! She had her upper GI and no leaks! So she had just started on Jello and water when I got there. She is doing her walking and in great spirits. She will be coming home Wednesday or Thursday. Great job Deena!!!!

Deena, congratulations on making a safe journey to the losing side. Get plenty of rest now and take good care of yourself and your new pouch! Don't forget to take time to celebrate your every victory. I look forward to watching your progress!

Deena is now offically on the "losing side"! She went into surgery this morning at 7:30am. I just spoke to Ivy the bariatric coordinator and Deena is doing very well! She is in recovery right now and her surgery was lap not open-great news! I am going to see her tomorrow and will update with more detail then! Go Deena!!!!

Well.... here goes nothing!! Tomorrow morning, 7:30am, there's no turning back now. I just wanted to thank everyone for their comments. I enjoy reading every one of them and they make my day brighter! Melissa, my Angel and wonderful friend, will update for me while I'm in the Hospital, so I guess I'll see you on "the other side!"
