1 Week Out Today. Can't believe I'm on the other side. Some trouble with my stomach.Very red and bloated. The doctor doesn't think it is caused by infection but the trama of the surgery, plus fluids with surgery, blood under the skin and the shots given for clotting in the same spot. This has been a bummer because my stomach looks like I am overdue, seems heavy, just not what I was expecting.Has anyone else had this?? I am on antibods now for 2 1/2 days. Otherwise I am mending as expected. Went from liquids to soft foods and doing well.Found that scrambled eggs lay very hard even as slow as I am eating, but I have had mashed pot. with butter and f.f. cottage cheese both measured at 1/4c. To all thinking of this surgery, to all that are pre-op, do not hesitate (of course you don't want to answer that right out of the op. room, ha ha).I have only lost 10 lbs in 7 days, but I physically, except for my stomach feel much healthier already. The couple days of discomfort is nothing for the comfort it becomes.I want to thank all that have written such wonderfully suportive and loving words along my journey and I'm thankful for the great friends I have met here. You guys are the best. My greatest advice to anyone fighting with the insurance co., fight fight fight, you are a beautiful person and you deserve a fullfilled life. Love Anita
