Heya Paulette, We have a support group here in the East Valley... here is the link....http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/AZWLS-Eastside/ WE have biweekly meetings...2nd and 4th Wed of the month at Valley Lutheran Medical Center...located at Broadway and Power Rd...It is open to all no matter the surgeon, surgery, or insurance!! Hi Paulette!! :) We share the same surgery date! Please find comfort in knowing we will share the pain together :) *Smiles* As for what to take to the hospital ...this is what I have been told: slippers, robe, chapstick or vaseline for dry lips (you will not have a drink for along time), fan, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, other personal toiletries for your comfort, pads such as "Always" super overnighters because many women start menstration after surgery whether they are due for it or not and they protect more since you will be in bed a lot.(tampons may be difficult to use). and whatever other comforts from home that will make your stay easier :) Once again Good Luck!
