I was scared, but as soon as I met Dr. Mehta, I felt like I had known him for a long time. He is a kind well spoken man, that actully listens to your concerns.

Dr. Mehta was wonderful. Loved him from day one, and my impression only improved as time went on.

his office staff was wonderful, knowledgeble, friendly....

future patients should call him.. he is WOnderful.

i saw him every two weeks for the first 6 weeks, he was great. and if i had a problem, he told me to come right into the office. he has a nutritionist that you can follow up with.

i first learned of Dr. M through a seminar he did on the surgery. he told you the good points, but also told you every risk there was.
overall - he is the BEST

everything about him was great.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH DR MEHTA, HE WAS VERY THOROUGH IN EXPLAINING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SURGERY, GOOD AND BAD.

HIS OFFICE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. I FELT LIKE I WAS ON A ONE ON ONE WITH LULU THE OFFICE MANAGER.

AFTER SURGERY I DEVELOPED AN ULCER, CAUSED BY SMOKING. DR. MEHTA CALLED ME PERSONALLY AND CALLED IN A PRESCRIPTION TO CORRECT THIS ULCER. HE EXPLAINED TO ME BEFORE SURGERY THAT SMOKING WILL CAUSE AN ULCER BUT I SMOKED ANYWAY, HE WAS SO RIGHT.

I WOULD RATE DR. VISHAL MEHTA TOP IN MY BOOK. I RECOMMEND HIM FOR HIS KNOWLEDGE, HIS SURGICAL COMPETENCE, HIS BEDSIDE MANNER, AFTER CARE. HE IS THE BEST.

My first impression of Dr. Mehta was that of a warm and caring person. I had met several other surgeons during initial consults and went to many WLS seminars. I knew Dr. Mehta was the one!!! He is an excellent caring surgeon. His seminars and in-office consultations gave you everthing you needed to know...the good, the bad, and the ugly. His after care is excellent. His monthly support meetings are superb with a nutritionist available to answer any dietary questions at the meetings or by phone. Dr. Mehta is available at his support meetings to answer questions.

Dr. Mehta's surgical competence and beside manner is what every patient looks for..the best of both worlds.

His office staff is the BEST!!! They go above and beyond. Thank you Lulu!!

I was very impressed with Dr. Mehta. He is very professional. He even has a sense of humor. I have attended his seminars and support groups and find them very informative. Since I received so much information from his seminars and support groups, I really didn't have a lot of questions to ask him and any that I did have were answered to my satisfaction. His office staff is first rate. Lulu and Jane are the best and definitely have it going on. Being in business myself, you can definitely tell when an office is properly run and Dr. Mehta's is. Of course, this is just my opinion.

My original consult was with Dr. Brolin but have switched to Dr. Mehta because of the extremely long waiting period to have surgery.
Dr. Mehta is wonderful. At my consult he was very informative, he made known all the risks and benefeits of this surgery. He is very personable, compassionate and attentive. His aftercare is structured and he also has a great support group, which meets once a month.

and today Oct 9, 2003 I weighed in at 365 pounds!1

Once I met Dr. Mehta I knew right away this was the surgeon I would want to operate on me. Once I listened to him about his process and learned of the level of his pre/post care I knew this was the surgeon that would be performing this operation on me. His confidence became my security. I made the best decision of my life, and he gave me the tool that helped me change my life. (Just a suggestion--If you have been thinking about this procedure at all---Go to a free seminar of Dr. Mehta's! You have nothing to lose!!)

I think Dr. M is the best!! He takes very good care of his patients. I called him several times and if he was not available, he did return my calls as soon as he could. He has an excellent aftercare program; better than the other doctors I had consults with. He is very down to earth and you can talk very openly to him. I LOVE him as a surgeon and would advise anyone to go see him.

DR MEHTA and his staff are great. I was very impressed with his knowledge and program and with his staff. I went to my consult and felt comfortable with my decision to switch.



Have had to switch to a new doctor (Dr. Mehta)and I have not met him yet. Will update later.




Dr Andrei - He was very personable and nice. He expalined and answered my questions very well. I felt His staff was excellent. They were very helpful. Even though the office was crowded on the day of the consult the people seemed happy to even be there and talked openly about their procedures. That was really good.
