I was impressed by the professional and very well organized orientation/presentation that they offered. They have a very thorough support network set up for general support meetings and nutrition support meetings.
I did have to keep on top of some of the steps of the process as they seemed to lag with out my constant prodding. In general, the office staff is very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that I was released back to work after 3 weeks when I had not yet adjusted back to eating solid foods and was complaining of a persistent lower right back and right flank pain (perhaps kidney) that was undiagnosed and unresolved. He is very direct and to the point, no frills, willing to answer any and all questions and encourages them. He strongly emphasis the aftercare and has you come in every week for the first month and his office provides support meetings monthly and access to the nutritionist at all times.
There are no efforts to hide the risks of surgery and they explain them and ask you again later if you understand the risks. I would rate him as an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Mueller was great! He was so friendly and relaxing, he explained everything in detail and made me feel really comfortable. He asked me questions on why I had decided to do this, and what my concerns and goals were. The staff in his office is fantastic, they really go the extra mile for you. They dealt with the insurance company and got all the authorizations and set up all the appointments for me. They were always there for any question that I might have. They have a really great support program for WLS patients, they have monthly support groups and monthly nutritional support groups designed for post-op patients. Overall I would give Dr. Mueller and his staff an A+!

I use to work with him when he was a Trauma Surgeon, I just adore his demeanor and bedside manner. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, though at times slow. They do offer alot of aftercare and encourage going anywhere you can that makes you feel more in sync...

George is straight forward and invites you to ask him any questions about anything you don't understand. His demeanor is wonderful with a very personable bedside manor. His office staff is a wonder group of people they are truly blessed to have a close knit group.

Office visits post op are very short in and out I spend more time in traffic than in office but other than that They are very pleasant and considerate.

Overall I would highly recommend Dr Mueller and his staff of professionals their attention to your well being is very reassuring they provide a bounty of support in all aspects - surgical, dietary, and fitness.

I am very pleased I have gone through the procedure even if I don't loose another pound - fat chance. "grin"

I have checked out other seminars and other doctors and felt at ease with the information presented and the personal attention by all involved in my personal make over story.

I had my consult with Dr. Mueller. He was GREAT!! I also talked to Juna, she was also great!! Wish I could get the ball rolling faster with the other consults I have to have. Still in limbo with those. FRUSTRATING!

I went to see Dr. Mueller last week. His office staff is great and so is he. Very personable. He didn't rush me and allowed me to ask all the questions I wanted to ask. I asked about their mortality rate (which is zero), their leak rate (2 leaks in the last 2.5 years), their obstruction rate (2 obstructions in the last 2 years), etc... Them odds sound good to me! All in all - Dr Mueller is awesome!

My first impression of Dr. Mueller is that he is very committed to what he does. He is very enthusiastic and eager to answer my questions. His office staff seems very friendly. Everyone I have dealt with treats me like they already know me.

It was not difficult for me to choose a surgeon. I have worked with George Mueller as a RN in the SICU for over 5 years. As a Nurse, you become very familar with the Docs, and how they administer care. You get to see first hand how they treat, esteem, and care for their patients. But even more than that as a RN, you also are wittness to their their geniune concern for their patients, as well as their skill, and knowledge level.

I was thrilled when I learned that George and begun performing this surgery. All doubt, immediately left as I now felt secure in my decision to proceed with the surgery, for now I knew I would have the best possible surgeon.

George has both superior surgical competency as well as a sincere, genuine caring bedside manner.

He seemed very nice and explained the procedure to my husband and I. I asked alot of questions and he answered all of them very honestly. My daughter-in-law works at the hospital where he does his surgeries and she felt he was the best and most liked. After surgery I will have more to post about him.
Aril 2 I'm no longer

going through Pacific Barriatrics. They no longer take my insurance. Im now going through Sharps. I met with Dr. Mueller and I was very very impressed with him. I felt very confident with him. He has done laproscopic surgeries for years. Though he has only been doing t barriatrics for a year he went through much traing. AAll I can say is I trust my life in his hands.

I have just met the Dr. a couple of times and they seem to be very caring and fabulous people. They listen to you intentively and answer any question you could come up with. They even said that they take a few pictures of the sugery and I could have a bit of a souvenier! :) I will post more later after the surgery! You couldn't go wrong with these Dr.'s The staff is great.
The Dr. also askes if you know what is to be expected and explaines everything to you. He talks to you about what you hope to accomplish by having the sugery. How you feel ect. There is also Dr. Llorente I am not sure which is the main Dr. to do the surgery they work together. I will also update all that!
