So far all is good!

So far Ive only talked with Dr. Chua at my seminar and first consultation but I love him! He is so knowledgeable and very precautious and considers all the information I have given him. I will update more as i get further along in the process.

All through my experience everyone kept telling me that i was in good hands with Dr. Chua, the onlything I disagree with is that I was in GREAT hands with him. Every encounter with Dr. Chua or with any of his staff was increddible. Everyone treats you very very good and does there best to go out of the way to work with you and answer any questions you have. They made me feel very at ease. Never had a doubt that I was doing the right thing. Would recommend him to anyone even if they were just curious. Everyone was als very good about making sure I had everything set up for after surgery also.

My first impression was that he really knew his stuff. I was intrigued by the statistics he presented in the information session I attended. The office staff that helped me (and still continue to do so) at Sinai Bariatric in Milwaukee, WI is AMAZING. They are incredibly helpful, wonderful, supportive people. rnrnDr. Chua and the \"team\" hold support sessions to solve problems, address concerns and share stories. Aftercare is a big thing, whether it's recipe/clothes exchanges or plastic surgery. The risks of the surgery were addressed to me well before my surgery. They certainly weren't \"overlooked\" or ignored. Chua's crew is determined to let us know what we're in for for the surgery.rnrnOverall, a great experience.

I was very impressed with Dr. Chua from his informational seminar. He explained everything so well and was honest about his record and how many surgeries he'd done.rnrnThe only regret I have now is that he did not transect during my open surgery in May of 2002, and I wish that I had known beforehand how important this is, especially with my family history of ulcers and acid problems.rnrnDr. Chua has an excellent staff, and an excellent aftercare program involving a monthly support group meeting. I've never attended though because of the 45 minute drive into downtown Milwaukee.rnrnNutritionist/dietician guidelines were very clear and spelled out. Seems much better than what I've heard from a lot of other people.rnrnI'd rate him an 8 out of 10. His surgical competence is excellent, bedside manner friendly.

I was favorable impressed with Dr. Chua from the first and that continued through surgery. His office staff is great - friendly and always willing to take the time to answer questions. I have joined the support group which has been extremely helpful before and since my surgery. I have also joined the pre and post bariatric exercise program that meets twice a week. I think what impressed me the most was his honesty and when he said I would be his patient for the rest of my life - I knew he would be there for me. rnDr. Chua has been performing bariatric surgery for 30 years and is very skilled.

My surgeon was very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions fully. He told me what he thought would be best and what I needed to do to achieve that goal! I would recommend him to anyone in the area that is looking for a surgeon. He works in Medical Center of Excellence and is a Dr. Of Excellence!!!

I thought Dr. Chua was a very nice man and his staff is wonderful. They take real good care of their patients. They answered all of my questions and always had time to talk with me. I would and have recommended Dr. Chua to my friends.

My first impression of Dr. Chua was complete faith and trust. He was so great at explaining the procedures as well as the dedication on my part. He works with some of the best hospital staff that I have ever had the pleasure in meeting. rnrnI highly recommend Dr. Chua and his team for anyone who is searching for a Bariatric Team that they can count on.rnrnI rate Dr. Chua and his team as a ten. They have been so wonderful to work with and I wish them all the best in the future.

I was very impressed by Dr Chua and his staff. Dr Chua is very knowledgable about wls. I couldn't have asked for a better dr as dr Chua. The more and more I have contacwith Dr Chua and his staff I am soooo impressed. Very caring group of people.
