Dr. Edwards has been very kind and considerate throughout this process. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. His program is very structured yet, accessable. I have been very pleased with their services so far.

Gotta brag - Dr Edwards is a great surgeon with an awesome bedside manner to boot! He is very professional and always comes across as caring and never had a problem taking the time to explain anything to me. Absolutely nothing that I didn't like about him - from day one he was always friendly and I was completely comfortable around him. Dr Edwards is very big on aftercare (although it was a bit different from what I was expecting through research of other lap band surgeries) and was very complete in describing all risks associated with my decision for surgery. Very down to earth guy. Top ratings - go see him - top of the line in all things! Can't go wrong!rnrnSuppose the only complaint I had was that I was around 4 hours late getting into surgery - few of the other patients had some issues and had to switch from laproscopic to open.

Dr. Edwards was the doctor giving the talk at the seminar I attended and impressed me. He was easy-going and immediately just made me feel at ease. I consider Dr. Edwards to be a kind and compassionate doctor who doesn't judge us for our size, but instead wants to help us. Even though he had to make an extra incision, I've had a relatively easy recovery (have slept in my own bed since the first night). I had a problem with my port incision and he got me in the office quickly to check it out. I feel very comfortable and confident have him as my doctor. I also had a wonderful experience w/his bariatric coordinator, Mary. She kept on top of things and was nothing but wonderful to work with while I was working my way to surgery.

I adore Dr. Edwards. He is caring, loving, compassionate and a superb surgeon. I felt completely at ease with him from the first time I met him and had no fears going into surgery with him in charge. The office staff is very competent. They scheduled everything and liased with my insurance perfectly. The structure of the aftercare program is a little loose but Dr. Edwards does encourage you to attend support groups and that helps alot. There is also nutritional followup after one month. He is just the best. Both surgical competence and bedside manner are wonderful. A great doctor who loves what he does.

I did not feel judged by Dr, Edwards, some doctors make me feel so fat and lazy and judge youu before they even know about you, he never made me feel that way. I thi nk he is great and recommend him to anyone. The staff is very nice and supportive also. He wants you to attend group and follow there program requirements, and to take vitamins and exercise, he reminds you every visit. he went over the risks of surgery twice and asked if we had other questions or concerns and I felt he answered them to my satisfaction. I give him a 10....He has all of them, bedside manner, surgical competence, manners, humor. he is really a down to earth guy who does not act like a stuck up surgeon.
