WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT DR. CZERNIACH WOW THATS WHAT I CAN SAY HE WAS AND STILL IS THE BEST,,, HE CAME TO SEE ME EVERYDAY I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND MADE ME COMMFY I WAS SO NERVES CAUSE I HAD LOST SOME BLOOD AND HE MADE SURE TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT AS WELL AS ME HAVING A LITTLE BIT OF BLOODY BOWLS BUT THIS IS COMMAN IS WHAT HE SAID THAT WITH IN 7 DAYS I WILL NO LONGER SEE IT AND YOU KNOW WHAT ON THE 7TH DAY IT WAS GONE... I JUST HAD SURGERY ON THE 8TH OF AUGUST 2011 AND I COULD NOT EVEN ASK FOR A BETTER SURGON.. FROM DAY ONE WHEN HE FIRST MET WITH ME I NEW HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING HE SAID TO BE HONEST IM KINDA A PREFECTIONIST AT THIS LOL AND MAN HE WAS RIGHT LOL!!!! THANKS DR.C U ROCK!!

Dr. C is an unbelievable doctor! He is very understanding, taking time to actually talk to me when I see him - not just rush me in and out of the office so he can get to his next patient. He has inspired me to keep going and made me realize it's okay to ask for help. His office staff is also great - they always have smiles and do their best to help with any issues or questions that arise. He explained the surgery to me completely and made sure I understood what I needed to do to succeed. He also didn't give me false hopes that this was a "miracle cure" he made me understand that even with the band there are ways to fail and success takes hard work.

I only wished that his follow up with patients he hasn't heard from in a while was more strict. When I had "life" issues that pulled me away from my weight loss efforts it would have been nice to have his office call me to get me back on track after they had not heard from me for a year. But I did love that when I went back on my own he welcomed me back and got me started on the right track again.

My first appointment with him is scheduled for March 10th.rn~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~rnI met with Dr. Czerniach and his nurse practitioner as scheduled. I liked both of them.rnrnDr. Czerniach needs to work on his eye contact, but other than that, he was very nice and answered all the questions I had. He didn't make me feel rushed at all. I appreciated that.rn~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~rnMy surgery was Monday, 04.06.09. I saw Dr. Czerniach before surgery and every day after surgery.rnrnDr. Czerniach was great! He was very nice before surgery and helped me to calm down (I was nervous). He answered all my questions and made sure that I was comfortable.rnrnDr. Czerniach visited me every day during my hospital stay. He took his time and never made me feel rushed at all. I felt like I was his only patient -- it's very rare these days to find a doctor that isn't in a rush.rnrnOverall, I am more than pleased with Dr. Czerniach. He is wonderful.rnrnPs. He did much better with eye contact. ;-)

Dr. Czerniach was very knowledgable about all parts of the surgerical procedure. He was patient with me and my husband. He answered our questions and the ones he didn't know, he found out for us. He made sure to keep an extra careful eye on me after the procedure. I did have some problems, but he and his staff handled it and I am OK. He consulted with my hemotologist to be sure that my blood clots do not return after my GBS.rnIn general, Dr. Czerniach is a very difficult doctor to find. He is open to all questions - even the stupid ones. He takes care of the patients and their families. He never forgets that his patients are people, not just cases.

My first impression of him was that he seemed pretty full of himself. As I talked with him i realized he was confident in himself and there is a difference. he made me feel the decision to have him as my surgeon was the correct one. He stayed and talked to me for over an hour. he did not rush me in any way. he didn't make me feel as though i was wasting his time. i have had a little trouble with his secretary and scheduling the surgery but as far as this surgeon goes i would recommend him 100%...

4-2-08rnI think he is absolutely wonderful and a delightful man. He talks with you about eveything and will answer any question you have. His staff is great as well. It was a very positive experience so far.rn(I'll say more after I have the surgery.)

I think Dr. Czerniach is the best. Since the first time I met him, he made me totally comfortable. I would tell anyone looking to have this surgery go to this Dr., you won't be disappointed.

my first impression of Dr. Czerniach, was that he seemed younger than me. After adressing that concern, He put me at ease with his excellent manner, and genuine concern for my well being. His office staff helped me fight my insurance company for approval after I was denied multiple times. The letters Dr C. & Dr. Kelly wrote on my behalf were wonderful, and caused me to win my appeal to the state. His Nurse practitioner, Robin, is absolutely wonderful, and I know that I can call her with any concerns I may have. Dr. Czerniack took time out of seeing patients at the weight center to calm my fears after staple removal, when I saw him in the hallway. I rate him very highly, and would go to him again, if I had to do it over again. rnrnYou would be lucky to have Dr. Czerniach and his staff caring for you!!

Dr. Czerniach is highly skilled and has been greatly compassionate in my care at the Weight Center at UMass Hospital. As busy as that office is, he and his nurse practicioner, Robin, have always been quick to answer any of my questions or concerns. I am very grateful to be in their care.

Dr. C. is part of the U-Mass weight center. I was very pleased with him. He and his fellow spent all the time I needed to talk before surgery about what to expect and the risks. They were very thorough, and made me feel very comfortable. rn My surgery had a slight complication with the internal staples, and he did some stitching. then made sure I had a leak test and all was fine. Dr. C. was very clear with me on the situation, and I was glad he was cautious and checked things out well. rn His staff has been great, and the post-surgical care is very important and thorough. rn I healed very well, and with no problems. I feel I was very prepared, and had the support needed. rn I highly recommend Dr. Czerniach. Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are wonderful.rn
