Eliseo Bautista Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Dr. Bautista was very mild mannered. He was thorough and didnt rush me out of the office. He took the time to listen and answer any questions that I had. My first impression is that he is a very caring and compassionate doctor/surgeon.

I was so nervous when I first went to meet with him (its been three years now) but immediately I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. He doesn't make you feel as if your questions are stupid, he seems to know what you are going to ask before you even get it out of your mouth. If I had to do all of this again, I would choose Dr. Bautista. rnrn

Dr. Bautista was fantastic. He was very open to the questions and concerns that I had and took an exceptionally long time going over things with me in his office. This was the first surgery that I had had since entering recovery over 6 years prior and wanted to discuss pain management options. He was amazing in his office, in the hospital, and post-surgery with ensuring that I was comfortable, fully informed, and giving full direction with what I was comfortable with. I was blown away by his bedside manner, the ease with how he relates to you, and with his professionalism regarding the realities of bariatric surgery of any kind and the importance of finding your place in the new lifestyle.

'My first impression of Dr. Bautista was a genuine caring physician. He explains all details very well and answers all questions. The office staff is great. So far there is nothing that I dislike about Dr. Bautista. He emphasizes that you follow all instructions that you are given pre/post op. When meeting with Dr. Bautista he explained every aspect of the surgery in great detail. His descriptions included diagrams and everything that I needed to know about anesthesia

I first met my doctor at a seminar on the difference between the lap band and the bypass surgery. He seemed very knowledgeable on the band and explained in detail the great benefits of having a less envassive surgery. The staff at Commonwealth Surgeons are very pleasant. The nurses seem to know you by name after only a few visits which boggles me because they are always so busy. I had a small set back where we discovered my port had flipped over, but that was handled very well. My doctor set up to have my port flipped back over in less than 2 weeks and explained to me what he was doing. There were times that i felt that he was not as good with beside manners as what I generally look for in a doctor but overall i am satisfied with our patient/doctor relationship. Overall i would rate him a 7 out of 10. There is room for improvement as with any doctor but he did a pretty good job :) Of course this is soley my opinion based on my personal experiences and I am not making any statments about what other people may experience.

Dr Bautista is very knowledgable. His program is outlined clearly for the patient. You do spend some time waiting to be seen. But, it's worth it for the assistance their team is giving you on this journey. He is gracious with my children who have accompanied me to many of my appointments. I would recommend him to family and friends.

my first impression of Dr Bautista , I thought that he was a very caring person and that he had done a lot of research on the types of surgerys that he performs and that he was well informed on the topic and was willing to answer any questions that i had ,andwith all honesty he is a great dr, if i had to do it al again i would choose Dr Baustita, The office staff is great always upbeat and they keep a smile on your face .i have no dislikes...
he is very serious about after care and making sure you are doing the right things to take care of your self. yes there is a structured aftercare.. well he asked that my husband come with me to my apts to make sure that he as well as myself understood all that was involed in the the surgery including all the risks i would give Dr Bautista on a scale from 1-10 he gets a 15 . he's a great careing dr with good bedside manners when he comes to visit his pt in the hospital ...

I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, BUT PLEASE MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, YOU MAY LIKE HIM.

He was quiet and soft spoken, He expectes you to have done your research of WLS.

Office staff very good.

He does emphasize aftercare. He made sure you understoodd all risk and hardships after and during surgery.

A very good Doctor who is happy to see you succeed in your WLS.

First impressions were good. Wife thought he was great. He seems very confident. He covered the operation throughly. The office is fantastic
