The doctors in Saranac are very nice...I feel confident with having my surgery performed in Saranac with Dr. Hill and with Dr. Hixon assisting.
Everone on the team is VERY professional, supportive and nice.

at the mandatory initial informational meeting he really seemed to know a lot about this whole process not just the surgical part.

his staff is very friendly and helpful with any problems or questions i ever have.

aftercare is very important to him and he was really good about keeping me calm and on track with taking care of my wounds.

the aftercare program is a little structured but it is individualized based on each patients own needs.

every possible risk of this surgery was very clearly explained to me.

i would rate him as being excellent in all things pertaining to this process.

I just want to Thanks Dr. Hill for being the best surgeon. He only does open for now but is currently learning lap. He just makes you feel so comfortable. He really knows what he is doing. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Hill. I just had surgery one week ago but I am so confident that he would be right there if I did need anything. He has such a great bedside manner as well. He is so positive and makes you feel that he can handle anything that happens. I can't think of one thing that I didn't like about him. On a scale of one to ten I give him a 20. Thank you Dr. Hill and your whole crew for allowing me to have such a great experience with something I never whated to have to go through. You all really helped a lot. Thanks!!

My first impression of Dr. Hill is that he is a very knowledgable and caring surgeon. Although he was very busy he took the time to answer each and every question thoroughly! His office staff is very understanding and accomodating both Karen Hixson and Nurse Nancy are great. I would reccomend him to anybody just beware he is very energized and seems to feed off his patients energy, he explains everything in complete detail so even a baby could understand when he is done. I know I will have more to add after I have my surgery but thats it for now.

A friend of mine had Dr. Hill as a surgeon and highly recommened him. When I first met him he immediately made me feel comfortable and my husband felt the same way. He did a nice job discussing the surgery and asked me questions and answered any that I had. I felt that he treated me very well and was pleased wtih the entire program. There are support groups that are helpful and the Drs. are there to explain and answer questions. I would gladly recommend him as anyones surgeon.

WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT DOCTOR HILL OTHER THAN HE IS THE MOST WONDERFUL PERSON IN THIS WORLD. MY FIRST MEETING WITH HIM WENT VERY WELL, HE TOOK THE TIME TO TASLK TO ME AND MY HUSBAND AND MADE US FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. HIS OFFICE STAFF IS SUPERB. THEY ARE ALL VERY KIND CARING PEOPLE WHO WERE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME IF I NEEDED HELP. NEVER WAS I TOLD THEY DIDN'T HAVE TIME FOR ME OR COULDN'T MAKE THE TIME. I HAD THE MOST WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH DOCTOR HILL AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF.

I would rate Dr. Hill a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but his bedside manner is wonderful!! He answered every question I had without hesitation. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking into this surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Hill was wonderful! We was friendly and courteous. He was very knowledgeble and willing to answer any questions I had. The staff was warm, caring and helpful also. Dr. Hill fixed an old surgical wound a couple of years ago and did A great Job! I am very comfortable with his surgical skills! The Bariatric Program at Adirondack Medical Center seems very well organized. Nurse Karen Hixon was very knowledgable and helpful!
