My first thought was that he had a very friendly face. He did seem a little stiff at first but that did not last long. He was very nice and very informative. He did not seem to be rushed and spent time with me, answering all of my questions. He even came back to make sure I understood somethings that he had forgotten to mention. That was my fault that he had forgotten, I kept butting in and asking him things and getting him off of what he was trying to say. His office staff were all very friendly and nice. They all took the time to answer questions. I did not find anything that I did not like about the Dr. or his staff. He covered everything very well.

WELL WHEN I MET WITH DR MARYMOR I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE.HE EXPLAINED ALL THE RISKS AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUIESTIONS AT THAT TIME.

Dr Marymor was great, he explained the surgery in detail, and answered all of my questions, completely. Can't wait to get to know him better as my journey continues.

Dr Marymor was wonderful, he did a fantastic job, I feel great. While I was in the hospital, he would come and see me twice a day, just to make sure I was doing ok. He is a very kind man, but straight to the point. I would recomend him to anyone who was thinking about having WLS.

My first impression was that the doctor was very professional. He explained the surgery in detail and anwered any question that I had. He was very to the point. On my surgery date, He came to see me in the pre-op room and explained the entire procedure again. He then went and talked to my family to answer any question they may have had. His surgical staff was very nice people that were always upbeat. I have no real complaints the surgery went just as he said it would. He also explained the risk of having the procedure. I go back today for my 2 week check up today so far so good. He also returned my phone call personally a couple days after I got home, which I did appreciate. If you did not have questions or concerns he did not dilly dally around. He was always straight to the matter at hand. I would rate him very good in my opinion. But what do I know, I would recomend him to anyone I knew that wanted the procedure. The statements I made are strictly from my own personal experience, No situation is the same, as I 'm sure yours will diffrent than mine.

Dr.Neil Marymor seemed to be a very nice person. He answered all my questions and was very informative in explaning the surgery. My impression of him was great.

I first meet with Dr.Marymor in Aug of 2000. My first impression of him was that he was nervous but very informative on the surgery that he was going to perform (rny). I also had the feeling that he truly has his patient’s best interest at heart.
After I had all my testing done and insurance approved I finally received my surgery date of Dec 6 2000. But in the end of Nov I came done with pancreatitis, which delayed my surgery. Then to top it all off my job decides to change insurance co. so then I needed to get approved all over again.
At my support group meeting I was told that I would have to go through another consultation if it has been more than 6 months from first consult to surgery. So I called and scheduled another consultation with Dr.Marymor. So now I have a surgery date of Feb. 22 2001.
On my next meeting with Dr.Marymor I found him more comfortable with talking to me and we went over the surgery again. He seems to be a very good doctor with the patient’s best interest at heart. If I wasn’t a 100% satisfied with him I would not but my life in his hands.

My first impression of Dr. Marymor was that he was very honest and competent. I liked the way he looked you right in the eye and explained everything. He answered all my questions and all my husbands.
The office staff was very friendly.

My husband went with me to my initial consultation with Dr. Marymor and we both found him to be very knowledgable about the surgery and the after care and he answered all of our questions with compassion and understanding. We even found him to have a bit of a sense of humor. He has a wonderful bedside manner and my husband was very impressed with his handshake - he said it was very firm and not wimpy. I will be having my surgery at the Bariatric Treatment Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the center is great. Everything is geared towards the larger patient and their whole practice is geared towards bariatrics. The office staff has been very nice and very helpful and the nurse that first saw me was very sweet. We met with my Patient Counselor and we both like her very much. She was very open and honest about her experience and about what I can expect from mine. She answered all of our questions (even the very personal ones) and even showed us pictures of what she looked like before her surgery. The Bariatric Treatment Center has a great aftercare program and they even recommend joining a support group now and remaining in it after the surgery. Dr. Marymor explained the risks involved with honesty, but not in a way that I was overly scared or worried about the surgery. Just from this one consultation, I would rate him very highly and have alot of confidence in his ability. I will say that I did feel a little rushed at times and at one point felt a little overwhelmed at the process. My overall feelings are good.

Had consultation 10/18/00. Dr. Marymoor was very kind, considerate and extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the surgery. I feel very confident with him.
Had pysch eval. Everything fine so far. Waiting for insurance approval. Looks good!!

Dr. Marymoor was wonderful. Very personable,kind of quiet. very nice. beautiful straight scar. Healed wonderfully.

I found Dr. Marymor to very knowledgeable on the medical aspect of the surgery. When fisrt meeting him I had all ready gathered alot of information already and I felt I was very prepared for the meeting with the staff. My first impression of the office was postive, a large waiting room very comfortable,( the office has sense moved). I filled out a long questionare, then was moved to another waiting room where I was weighed, blood pressure taken, and was asked any question that I had not made clear in the answers. Then we were taken to another room where we (husband) meet with Dr. Marymor. I found him to be a little distance but very knowledgeable in his information. I had already had done the reseach, so I realy didn't have to many questions to ask him. After meeting with him were handed off to a person who had alredy had the surgery two years pryer for any personal questions. What it was like, how it has chaged her life,etc. you were told we could ask her anything. Overall I felt comfortable with him and his staff.
