Terrible Doctor. Terrible Office staff. Terrible facility. Patients seem to "annoy" everyone. Once I went in for an appointment expecting to see Dr. Keith and was seen by some hateful/fake girl with dreads. She had no idea how to answer any of my questions and come to find out almost every bit of information she fed down my throat was completely wrong. No one calls back when messages are left. Very unprofessional. I hear nothing but profanity and sighs when a patient sits in the lobby. The newest provider Jodi was ok, but had no idea what she was doing. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Dr. Keith was very patient with me, and seemed to care about me and my procedure. I will say that the office staff has gone through some changes, and there were times that I felt like they were a bit out of sorts because of that. I'm sure that those changes will settle and a new norm will be established. My surgery went great, my recovery has been awesome. I attribute that to a surgeon with a ton of experience and expertise in bariatric surgeries. If I had it to do over again, I would still pick Dr. Keith.

He has very little patience if your recovery isn't smooth. The more issues I presented, the more irritated he became. He immediately claimed I was obviously "non-compliant" with my protein requirements, rather than listening to me. It took him months to stop telling me I was doing things wrong and actually listen. By the time he finally reopened me, I was in critical condition with multiple complications he didn't suspect. I do not recommend him.

I have met with Dr. Keith one time so far - He is very nice!! Much nicer than the first surgeon I went to. He sat down and talk to me, allowed me to ask questions. Made me feel like he cared about me as a person!!
I am looking forward to developing this relationship!

Six days post op and in more pain than the day after surgery. It is Christmas so trying to wait until Monday to call. Praying I last that long. So far Dr. Keith has been very good, though, not too impressed wth the PA, Winter and most of the care at Norman Regional was substandard at best. There were a few good nurses and some great Aids but if you don't have family or someone with you you might not get what you need. Second day post op, called four times over two hour period before I finally got anti nausea meds. Couldn't get help out of bed and little ambulatory help which they require you to walk but won't assist. It is more important for four or five of them to be standing around talking at the front desk. Also, make sure you don't need anything during shift change because you won't get it. I have been home since Wednesday and no one has even called to check on my status. I hope it gets better soon but right now I am in a lot of pain and regretting my decision. However, if surgical skill is your main priority, like mine, then Dr. Keith is still the right choice.

My first impression of Dr Keith was that he cared. This man knows his stuff. He and all of his staff are going to make sure that I get through this and they did. I started my process with Dr Keith's office in February of this year and I have not regretted one moment of it. Dr Keith staff is AMAZING. So nice and helpful. They were always and still are there even if I just need somebody to talk to. Dr Keith and his PA Winter care about their patients. I did have a small bump in the road and the whole Metabolic Surgery Unit was there through the hard times. Dr Keith is very serious and sometimes may come across sturn, but I am glad he did that in it's self is what got me through. Thank you Dr Keith and to all your staff. I couldn't have done it without you. I look forward to being able to share my milestones with you and your wonderful staff!!!!!

Dr. Keith program was just OK. My surgery went fine but it seem his practice is focused more on making money than on helping his pt. I only met with him once and the rest of my visit was with his PA Winter. I even requested to have Dr. Keith and was denied. There was also issues with billing. I was being charged for services that were covered under the global period. Overall I would rate his practice as just OK. The office is nice and new and there is a lab on site for blood work. Also everyone had nice personalities.

CAREFUL! I was referred to Dr. Keith's bariatric surgery seminar by my primary care physician. I went to the seminar, filled out all of the paperwork along with a copy of my insurance card and a week later was scheduled for my first consultation appointment with Dr. Keith. My first impression was that he is himself an obese man and I thought a weight loss surgeon would "practice what he preached." He did not seem too concerned with me or the surgery as much as how to get the insurance to pay for it because I am right on the border of meeting the insurance requirements. I was then sent for a list of laboratory blood work and two weeks later received an explanation of benefits from my insurance company stating that the lab work was almost a thousand dollars and I was denied for any coverage. I called Dr. Keith's office and was told that the insurance had told them that bariatric surgery was covered under my policy and that it was the insurance company's fault for mis-informing them. She told me (and I quote) "Sorry there was nothing I could do to help you. Good luck with that". So now I didn't get the surgery and am stuck with a bill that I can not afford to pay.

My first impression was that he was not very friendly but after a couple of visits it changed and he was very informative and easy to talk to..His office staff is very caring and helpful. He is very strict on following up with your appointments and attending support group meetings......

I have to say that my experience with Dr. Keith and all of his staff has been great. I had to have an Umbilical Hernia repair done in March prior to my RNY and was treated wonderfully before and after that procedure so it left no doubt in my mind that I was going to be treated well w/ the RNY. I saw Dr. Keith twice before my RNY surgery and twice after in the hospital and I also saw Winter as well and she is the one I did see today at my follow up visit. I really like both of them because there are no holds barred w/ either of them. They don't beat around the bush and just give you the facts whether you like hearing it or not and I appreciate that. I've always had both of them answer any and all questions I have even though they may seem trivial. Would I do it again, you bet and I'm just at the beginning of this journey. I highly recommend Dr. Keith, Winter and the whole Oklahoma Weight Loss Options team.
