The only thing they should do different is putting people with the same surgery in the same room. It was hard not being able to eat while my room mate could.

I feel that I had a very good experience and would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to others.

The almighty dollar take precedence over the patient. Nursing resources are stretched thin.

I spent 7 hours in recover, not for medical reasons, but because there was no bed on floor 10, I have over worked nurses, one who was quite nasty (Amy) , I was not allowed to shower there (told by nurses it was germy and I did not want to shower there) , I had to ring over and over for pain meds, there was a man screaming in the night for help in the next room, they did not empty my drain all day long, and it took till 7 pm to get discharged.... I was so dissapointed by this experince with Danbury hospital. I hope to never have to go there again,ever. Today I called and spoke with the nurse manager, Laura Santoro and let her know of all these problems. she apologised over and over. I hope my horrible experience was isolated and those of you who go after me do not find this to be the case for you.

Oh my God I cannot say enough how wonderful Danbury Hospital is, It is like a hotel, and the staff is the finest I have ever dealt with...A+++++ I highly recomend this hospital

Aside from the extremly over crowded parking, it's a great place to go for this proceedure. They do WLS there alot and are well prepared for the bariatric patient.

Because the Danbury Hospital Bariatric program is so intensive, I visited almost every department for one test or another. I was always amazed by the efficient, courteous, and knowledgable manner of everyone I met. I would highly recommend this hospital.

I felt that all the staff was so accomodating and always available to help with any questions or concerns.

The hallway during the night was very noisy.
