I had to go to the emergency room multiple times- and overall te staff and folks were awesome

My entire experience was excellent. Everyone from the doctors to nurses and aides were extremly helpful. There is not a better place to have surgery.

The nurses on staff at Miami Valley's Bariatric floor were of some of the best I've ever seen. Every nurse was attentive and caring and really wanted to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. My 17 year old daughter stayed overnight and my 14 year old was there throughout the day. The nurses and staff made my kids feel comfortable and totally went beyond what they needed to to make sure my kids were ok as well! The room was private and quiet too. I highly recommend having surgery at MVH!

I feel the Valley is very clean and the way the staff treated my family was great... They never make you feel like you are a bother....I had male and female nurses and they were and are wonderful caring people..Thank you for making my stay a pleasant one.

Check in was good; some nurses were exceptional. I just got a bad shift nurse and patient care rep. My doctor is wonderful as well as his staff. He was livid at the way I was treated and met with nursing staff. Hopefully whoever has to go to that ward again will have a better experience because of my complaints.

I just spent the week there with my mom and they were wonderful to her. I have chosen Dr. Maguire and this is the hospital he does surgery at. I will review it after my surgery, but so far...I'm impressed.

Overall, the stay was excellent. Did have one night where some other patients were having complications and the place was rather noisy. Also, because of Christmas being a few days away, they did not have student workers handling the menial tasks, so they always seemed shorthanded.
