THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD WAS WHEN MY 6 CHILDREN WANTED TO SEE ME THE ICU PERSON WHOM CHECKS PEOPLE IN YELLED AT MY CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY WERE HAPPY TO SEE ME AND WAS VERY RUDE. PEOPLE WOULD BE COMING IN PAST VISITING HOURS AND SHE WOULD STILL LET THEM IN. WE WERE TOLD FLOWERS WERENT ALLOWED AND ON MY LAST NIGHT IN ICU SHE ALLOWED A BLACK COUPLE TO COME IN AT 10:27PM AND BRING SOME ORANGE FLOWERS IN A YELLOW WRAPPED POT. THERE WAS A WHITE COUPLE WHO BOUGHT IN A TODDLER AND WAS ALLOWED TO COME IN. RICHARD AND ANOTHER MALE NURSE UNDERSTOOD THE SITUATION AND ARRANGED FOR US TO MEET SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE I HADNT SEEN MY CHILDREN IN 4 DAYS. THANK GOD FOR THEM

the most dangerous terrible hospital I have ever stayed in. If you HAVE to use this hospital HIRE your own CNA or assistant to help you-because thry won't help you!!!

All and all I liked the care that was given to me at Trident. The nursing staff was pretty nice and helpful, although they probably need to do some training on how to operate the bariatric beds. But other than that, it was a good experience.

They need to clean the bathrooms everyday,as I leaked gastric juice from my gtube and it was on the floor couple days until my mom cleaned it up,nurses pretty attentive,most of them all dolls,

Pleasant stay, had many nurses and nurses aids. Everyone was very nice and accomodating.

Its hard to rate the hospital overall. I really think that the staffing could use an overhaulling.

The nurses were kind and friendly but slow and often promised to do things and they never did them. Such as getting me up to walk and moving around.

They need to become better sensitive and develop a Obesity Center there with all the SURGERY performed there and those that are scheduled. MUSC in Charleston just built a Obesity Clinic to meet the needs of this fast growing surgery. There certainly is the need.
