What was on YOUR menu for Wednesday?



Hi Kay,
I'm doing good today busy at work. Sounds like you were crazy with that laundry.
Here is what I ate:
B-Nothing I slept in.
L-1/2 c. No Salt Added Cottage Cheese with 2/pear halves canned
D-1/2 c. of spaghetti w/sauce & 1/2 of a meatball
S-Will be an atkins protein bar
Water & the usual vitamins

Hello all!
Today is my second day of pureed foods. So far so good, right?
I can't seem to get up for breakfast, so at noon I started with 2 oz. pureed chicken breast with some bbq sauce for flavor
then I had 8oz of Resource protein drink (it is a liquid with 9g Protein for 8oz. and comes in fruit flavors of wild berry, orange and peach -- I can no longer stomach the thought of CIB)
that's it so far, but I'm on the west coast and it is still mid afternoon. I foresee my having some cottage cheese, yogurt, applesauce and maybe an egg before the day is done. Plus more liquid.

I need to do laundry, but I am rebelling against it. LOL
B~ Slim Fast Low Carb (low sugar one)
S~ 1/2 Snicker Marathon bar (1st time I had one and it was BOMB)
L~ 1/3 of a Healthy Choice Meatloaf/Mashed/Green bean meal
S~ 2nd 1/2 that Snickers deal
D~ 4 small chicken fingers/carrots~N~peas/2 slices of peach
I am behind on water today. :o(
I walked on the tread mill for 20 and am just getting ready to leave for the gym to do a excersice class. (It was my first day at the new gym!)

I'm having a down day
I gave in to my no weighing myself vow and found that I lost only 6 pounds since Feb 3. All in all I guess I did well. Tomorrow will be I will be 1 month post-op and I've lost 30 pounds.
Okay, my foods.
B: 3oz chicken w/FF gravy
L: 16 oz orange crytal light with vanilla protein added
D: A Salad!!! I had iceberg lettuce, FF cheese, 1oz chicken, 4 small cubes of tomato, 4 crutons, and FF italian dressing. YUMMY!!
Took vitamins, doing good on fluids, haven't exercised yet. (waiting for DH to come home)

Well today is my first day recovering from a stomach flu - how much fun was that - NOT!! I was sick all weekend and monday thru tuesday. I was worried it was a sticture but it turned out to be an old fashioned stomach bug.
So today I had some crackers and some mashed potatos and thats about it!
BUT! Today marks the end of week 6 which means NO MORE FOOD RESTRICTIONS!! YAY!!
