OK I thought this could be fun!! What music helps keep you motivated and, as Dawn said, Work off the Wiggles? So here is a few of my favorites: ~anything by The *****cat Dolls (I have become addicted to their CD) ~"Best of You" and "Times Like These" by Foo Fighters ~"In the Rough" by Anna Nalick ~"Fighter" and "Dirty" by Christina Aguilera ~"Toxic" by Britney Spears ~"L.O.V.E." and a lot of Ashlee Simpson's new CD "I Am Me" Strangely, I am not really into chick pop music, but they seem to get me energized and work good for my workouts.... So, what do you have on your Exercise Music playlist? I am looking to get some good suggestions and put together a great playlist... and I will share the final results too!! (Could this be a good idea for secret pals???) Love ya!! ~amber~

Don't laugh... I have the Walk The Line with Reese and Pheonix singing the songs from the movie. I loved the movie. It just has a good sound to it. Hugs, Heather 242/233/187/130 highest/surgery/current/goal

I so am not into poppish music eithe,r but something about the beat makes me wanna "Shake My Tail Feather"! (Song by rapper, Nelly) Right now I'm so into the Rock Band Shinedown, omg, they're awesome. I also LOVE Shakira, she's such motivation, lol give me your belly (got that from you!)! I also listen to Blast! which is an awesome brass and percussion instrument group that does fantastic stage shows like field shows at a football game. they have dancers and choral people too, AMAZING! I could listen to them all day every day! I also have the Rent and Phantom of the Opera soundtracks. Sadly I don't have an Ipod or MP3 Player, so just listed to one CD at a time love ya! *~*Jaci*~*

Pop music is really what gets my booty shakin, too. I love to put in Madonna as well as what you listed. Plus Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake to name a few. I have been swimming mostly so haven't listened to music lately during a workout, but I have my eye on the "swiMP3 player." A waterproof swimmer's MP3, that will really boost my workout length, and maybe even my pace. Emily

This is probably going to make me look like a freak, but I go from one extreme to the other. I either have hand clapping, foot stomping gospel OR Limp Bizkit, Eminem, Kanye West, ect. Now, if I am in a really odd mood then I go old school and listen to Will Smith, House of Pain, K7, Salt & Peppa, C & C Music Factory and so on. Weird right? Dawn

Hi Amber - I wondered on this board- and have responded to a few posts- and this is exactly what I was thinking of doing on our August board - so let me give you some of what Im listening to- in heavy rotation.. I workout 3-5days a week- and do 50mins on treadmill/25-30 mins on Precor stairmaster and then I weight lift 2-3x a week. I usually swim and use the club tub /sauna afterwards.. (I had to take off 3 weeks from workouts- as I got a lousy respiratory infection- so I just restarted my workouts last week) Tilt Ya Head Back - Chrisitine Aguliera & Nelly Hot in Here / Rid Wit Me - Nelly Crazy In Love - Beyonce Pump It / My Humps/ Lets get it started - Black Eyed Peas Pump Up the Jam - Technotronic Get Up Offa That Thing - James Brown ( I dare u to sit down on this) Dancing With Myself- The Donnas (better than Billy Idols version) I Like It Like That - Tito Puente Conga - Gloria Estefan Bust A Move - young MC Good Vibrations - Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch (Mark Wahlberg) ** I love this - this gets me into my workout** You Should Be Dancing - Bee Gees Le Freak - Chic Yeah! - Usher Waiting for Tonight- Jennifer Lopez Material Girl /Holiday/ Ray of Light - Madonna Love Shack- B-52s She Bangs- Ricky Martin Sexbomb- Tom Jones Ladies Night - Kool & The Gang Party For Two - Shania Twain & Mark from Sugar Ray Dont Cha - the *****Cat Dolls Who Do ya Think You Are - Spice Girls No One gets the Prize/ The Boss - Dianna Ross Upside Down - Diana Ross Im so excited - The Pointer Sisters Hit me with your best shot - Pat Benatar What I like About You- The Romantics R.O.C.K. - John Mellencamp If you like Christina Aguiliera- check out the duet she does with Nelly- its really good- and hers is the best arranged ..Nellys "version" is looser and not as dynamic sounding.. Hope this gives ya some ideas..I like yours too! Ciao Donna 325/231/145

I'm more of a Pop, top 40, gal myself. I just got an MP3 player and absolutely love it! I love the shuffle feature so it's all mixed up. For those of you who do the MP3 thing, check out the website, www.allofmp3.com, it's an awesome site to download music for about 8-9 cents/song. I put $10 in my account and have yet to go through it and I have about 60 songs on my MP3 player right now (still a newbie!). Lisa S.
