Everyone Reply Please: Help with supplements
Okay, I am a terrible loser! I do not take my vitamins as I should. I hate them they all taste nasty or make me feel ill. Currently I am taking (and I say that lightly) Centrum chewables, an iron tablet from Long's pharmacy, Twin lab B-12, TUMS ultra for calcium. What I want is a really little multivitamin tablet. I have heard they exist in very small form but have not found ANY. What are people out there taking? I should also take Biotin and a B Complex (I have a liquid, but gag me with a spoon it tastes like ****e!)
If you all could list your brands for me I may find something easier to take. Plus, maybe someone else out there needs some help too.

Kay,
Where did you find the Calcium Citrate chocolate chews? What brand? I tried Citracal Creamy Bites (and they are not "creamy" nor are they something I even remotely wish to "bite")
I have to force myself to eat them...I can only do one a day.
Have you tried the Bariatric Advantage brand?
I'm looking for a new Calcium Citrate!

I said butterscotch, but meant to say caramel! Yes that's what I have here too.
Ya know, I think it's more the texture that gets to me...kinda gritty. Maybe they should rename them, "Gritty Bites".
Ah well, it's a supplement! It's not supposed to taste good, I guess. I remind my kids that when they bawk about the taste of medicine. "You know, when I was a kid, we didn't have cherry berry flavored medicine! You had to pinch your nose, make a face and suck it up!"

Chele,
If you like orange flavored things the calcium I take is in a liquid form and it tastes ok to me, not deliscious but not horrible. Here is a paste from my post to Emily ...
Calcium Citrate - Tropical Oasis - 1/2 tablesoppon two times per day - has an orange flavor - I get this at a local grocery store, you can order it on line
1 Tablespoon =
Calcium Citrate - 1200 mg - 25%
Magnesium Citrate - 720 mg - 25%
Vit D - 100 IU - 25%
Boron Citrate - 750 mcg - not listed
I hadn't heard of this! I'm going to look for it. Generally, I prefer liquid over chewable I think...so this sounds much easier to me.
Thanks for the tip!
Dumb question, but do you find that in the vitamins section, or perhaps the natural foods section? Our Kroger is kinda wacky as sometimes you find different brands in the natural foods section.

Chele,
The store I found it at, HEB (I think they also own Central Market) has the vitamin section in the natural foods area.
It is a brown glass bottle, the label is bluish @ the top and has some palm trees on the bottom.
They were just on sale 1 month supply = 13.00. It is pretty cheap compared to the Twin Lab wafers I originally purchased.
I don't know about your Kroger, but ours will special order items for you if you ask them to. So if Kroger doesn't carry it, they maybe able to order it for you.
