Hey Holly girl! You are an our January exercise queen!!!!!!! That's awesome! Does that Firms AB tape seem to work? Any exercise tapes for sagging boobs?? hehehehehe! It would save me a lot of $$. Ok, I have no clue how many miles I jog, but I run for 30 minutes a day (not super fast, but for sure faster than even fast walking) And then every other day I'll do some strength training with light weights. I was going to add a little more weight, but then I checked out the muscles on my arms and I don't want them any bigger, if it wasn't for the xtra skin, I'd have a nice muscle. lol! I exercise daily too and feel horrible if I skip a day, total opposite from last year!! I am going to convince myself that I'm not going to get fat overnight if I skip a day of exercise. That's the OCD in me, lol!

Topic: Prayer Patrol - Everyone OnBoard?
Hi everyone, It looks like we have alot of people that we need to be thinking about and praying for, so I am going to try to recap them here. If I have left someone out, please post the data below and I will start a new posting. I thought I would try to do this once a week. Perhaps I could do it on Thursday evenings, so we could all check it out on Friday morning and keep people in our thoughts for the weekend. Here goes: Lori - Multiple issues / Possible Cancer / Blockage issues Bel - TT Janie - TT March Marta - Gall Stones Katy - Struggling with sinus / allergy infections / steroid medicine Lots of us having Tailbone related issues. "Take care of your body with steadfast fidelity. The soul must see through these eyes alone, and if they are dim, the whole world is clouded." Goethe If I have left anyone out, I am truly sorry, but fill me in with details, dates of surgeries, etc. and I will update this listing and jazz it up a bit for a Friday Post. Hugs, Lindy

Perhaps we should start an exercise program here. Something like having us post some exercises for the day and everyone do it because I do not exercise we could start slow and progress to some great exercising. what do you think is anyone game. Katy, Thanks sweetie!!! I know what you mean...this weather is just incredibly crazy. I am so ready for spring / summer so I can get things done. I just did my taxes tonight and submitted to the IRS via e-filing, but I was dreading being up because it's too darn cold. Right Now, I am feeling good about the way I look. The problem is just in my head about the actual weight on the scales. In High School, I was always between 105 - 115. So, I knew that there would be a possibility that I could easily get into this range, but I wasn't sure what the realistic aspect of it was. In high school, I often looked anorexic in pictures that showed my shoulders, etc. or at least when I was in drill team outfits that were tight fitting. I don't feel like I look quite that bad or even bad at all. Pictures is usually when I can tell. If I don't have my makeup on and my hair isn't fixed, I feel like I really look bad. Not sure why that matters, but I think a large part of it is the fact that my hair is still growing out and has all of these fly aways that are only an inch off my head. URGH!!! I never had short hair before ever, so I am not familiar with hair grow out. It's not very fun. I am noticing my hair starting to thicken up a bit. I have very fine brittle hair anyway and thus it's really struggling after the surgery, but it's definitely on the mend and time will deal with that. Dana (CajunGirl) on the TMB just posted a thread yesterday about how when you even back out and level out you don't look so gaunt and the issues at one year, etc of looking to thin seem to ease up a bit, even though there is no weight fluctation. You should go take a look at the post, it's amazing. Of course, her hair is a different color, she has more makeup on and she is actually smiling in the 2008 picture vs the 2007 pic. But it still gives me hope to look forward to. Well...keep things up girl!! You are so close to goal and I am very proud of you. Hugs, Lindy Steph - You are close to goal too!!! WAY TO GO! You rock for keeping us accountable every week, no matter what. This post is like my one daily cup of coffee, even if it does only happen once a week. Til next week!

Janie, Thanks, yep, I am eating good, getting in lots of protein / vitamins. I do sometimes have some random issues of pouch problems like I did very early out due to phlegm, but for the most part I am doing good. I started adding back protein shake supplements, even though I can't stand that they make me have so much gas, which seems to further some of my stomach issues. I have tried the Gas X and Beano, but there doesn't seem to be much relief there. I actually feel pretty good. I am trying not to loose another inch at all. My body has settled down from the problems I had this weekend, so I need to weight in the morning to see if I put some lbs back on. I think that I lost a huge amount of water retention due to the constant trips to the bathroom. I am holding off on the work outs until I can get this issue under control a bit. I know that probably just some toning stuff would be helpful and I am hoping after my first full week at my new job, I can get focused. I have been working 10+ hour days since I started. Our Board of Directors meeting is Thursday so there is a lot to do to get ready and our annual audit is March 15th, so timing hasn't been too much on my side. But I am truly loving it so far. Thanks again for the message! Lindy

Topic: How much are you exercising?
I was just wondering how much everyone is exercising currently. I was just told by my Dr that it is important to take at least one day off a week- anyone else heard this? I do weights twice a week, a Firm Abs tape twice a week and I walked 5 miles a day last week- but that was high for me- I was trying to compensate for the excess calories I was getting in. Just curious what everyone else is doing... and my other question- do you think when you exercise more it ups your appetite? Thanks- Holly

Thanks Katy- you're too sweet!! I'm better- but wow that "cold" just wiped me out- I finally feel like I have some energy again. I upped my exercise and I feel better physically and mentally- but i am larger... does that make sense? My pants are tighter and I can see where I have gained some muscle- which I tell myself is good- because muscle will burn more calories than fat. It just made me freak out to have to try on 3 pairs of pants one day last week. That night I had a dream that I had gained back all of my weight- it was one of those where you're like- phew it was a dream!! How much are you exercising? Holly
