Oh my, I can't remember the last time I weighed in. I have had so much stress lately, so much changed for husband and I. We moved from Virginia to Texas, and I changed jobs. I went from a scientist to a teacher. I start this week, so I will keep yall posted. We dont have internet yet, so I am bumming some online time. I went up and down and still can't get to onederland. I will though, my one year mark was 83 pound loss. I and my doc were very satisfied. I am still waiting to hit 190.
Right now i am around 203.8 pounds.

My upper thighs just absolutely disgust me! They look nothing without clothes like you would think they would when I have clothes on (did that make sense?). They are...ucky! Thin and relatively toned...under the saggy, wrinkly inner thigh skin. *shivers* blech!! Medial thigh lift, please? My arms are nothing great...I do have some stretch marks underneath near my armpit, but nothing fatal. I even still have muscle tone...it would look great if I would do more than 20 push-ups a day....I am clearly lazy. Congrats on those last 5 pounds!! Yay for goal weight!!!

Hi Everyone -
Not much to report here..... still hanging tough at 164. At this rate not sure the scale will ever move again.
I had my 13 month check up ( missed 12month due to knee surgery). Dr. was so happy at my progress. I've lost total 146 pounds w/ 5 more to my goal. He said that if I were to lose more it should be about 15 to 20 and give myself to the end of the year.... but that was if I wanted to. He is happy with where I'm at now.
I also had to go for new jeans again..... I was a 12 and went into an 8 !!!!!!. I don't think that I've ever been a size 8 - maybe back in 4th grade??? I'm now that same size as my daughter and she's freaking out.
Steph - great loss from last week - how do you do such big losses this far out? I swear my scale has not moved in a month.
hope everyone has another great week -
Marta

Hi Marilyn -
I know what you mean about the smoking thing..... I also started again in July of 2007 ( too many family tragedies to handle and I can't use food to relieve stress). I wish I could stop and I keep telling myself that I will, but I'm also afraid of the overeating issue. Congratulations on stopping cold turkey !! I hope you stay smoke free as it is soo not good for you. Maybe gum??? I guess I could try that as well.

Well I wasn't joking when I said I go up and down. This week has been crazy. Most of the household sick. My weigh in was a shock, not sure where all 7 pounds came from.
SW: 247
LW: 156
CW: 163
I have been ranging between 156 - 159 since October. This week was challenging though and I have to admit something. About March 2007 two months after surgery I began smoking, which before was just a social thing for me, maybe a couple of times a month. But in March I begain to replace snacking with smoking - which I knew/know was not healthy. So, Feb 2nd I stopped - cold turkey - have not smoked even one little drag. So, I very glad about that but upset about the gain. But, I'm the one in control of what goes in my mouth so, this week will be better!!
