Today I was approved to have the open RNY with the silastic ring and we confirmed my surgery date for 3/16. I'm feeling grateful, scared, nervous, excited, happy, and I know I am in for a roller coaster of emotions both good and bad but I also know without a doubt that this is the best thing for me to do. I'd love to hear from others beginning their journey in March, 2004.
