Kelley just found out she did not pass her leak test. We don't know what happens next she waiting on the surgents. If anyone knows what happens in these cases please please reply. we are all going nuts right now.

OMG....Definite prayers are with her.....please keep us posted! Luckily it was caught while in the hospital and the surgeon can jump on it now! Wendy

I had a friend in January who did not pass her leak test in surgery. They went right back in and re-stapled the area. They told her that if they had found it later, that depending on the size of the leak, sometimes they give the body a few days to mend the leak site itself, (means a much, much longer time on clear fluids, post-op). If it's a large leak, there's no choice - they must go back in and fix it. Va
