I'm a freak

I don't know why but I have moved from a poster to a lurker....I am STALKING YOU ALL!!!!! Anyway, I am not sure why this is. My surgery is on Monday and I have the butterflies with me at all times now. I am equal parts excited and scared to death of what "could" happen. I wanted to say that this board is a constent source of information, happiness and support for me. I wish all of those pre-op a speedy and uneventful surgery and I hope you all "melt" quickly. To the post-ops thank you for sharing your journey with us all and I wish you a speedy and healthy recovery!!! Sam 4 days!!! OH MY GOD 4 DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sam, I'm glad you're back posting, I totally know what you mean I am the same way, sometimes I wouldn't post, but just read what everyone had to say. I think this WLS is like a roller coaster with our emotions going up to a super high peak, ie: approval, date, etc., then we begin the flying trip down, meaning the anxiety, nerves, etc. So, I think you are pretty normal. I'm going to pretty soon, cause tomorrow is my BIG DATE Say a prayer for me, as I will be saying some for you Love, Betty

Hi Mary, I'm Jan from Mullica Hill, NJ and having surgery the same day as you 3/22/04. Are you nervous. My concentration is not good at all. I think you advice to keep busy and keep the faith is good. Take care and god bless for a quick recovery.

Hello all Marchers!!!!! I too have found myself lurking instead of posting. I'm scheduled on 03/30/04.....still extremely excited and not a bit worried or scared ..... yet. I hope I don't get that way. I know I'm ready....I wish everyone the best and we'll all be gorgeous (or on our way) by June!!!!! Tina

A lot of us do that the week or two before surgery. Just come back when you are ready. We'll be here for you, whether you are in stealth mode or not. Joy -19 lbs / 16 days
