Ok so that is my date,,, if you look at my profile i have had 3 times that i was sopposed to go in but due to complications i couldn't.. SO i did not want to post untill I knew... so this is it a little over a week away.. i am really excited, and yet still skeptical if that will still be my date or will some thing else go wrong.

Hi Kim, I know EXACTLY where you're coming from! If you read my profile I had 4 surgery dates! My entire process took about 2 years. The first time I was supposed to have surgery it was May 21,2003 but I was denied by insurance as out of network. So I had to switch hospital and surgeon. I was scheduled a second time for January 15,2004 then my surgeon had emergency wrist surgery the day after Christmas! So I was pushed out to March 18th. Then I got another call stating there was a cancellation so they bumped me UP 2 weeks to March 4,2004! Talk about nerve wracking! Let me tell you though once it was scheduled and finalized it happened for a reason. My surgery went close to perfect I'm 2 weeks out and I feel fantastic. I hope you have a great support group or family because I'll tell ya if it wasn't for my support group I probably would've given up after the second denial. When it does happen you'll look back and say to yourself the wait was worth it. I hope this helps a little I wish you the best and feel free to E-mail me if you have any questions or wanna chat.
