Oh Kimberly, what a rollercoaster you've been on.  I hope your Mother's Day was as good as it could be under the cir****atnces.  I'm still saying prayers for you and your family.

Welp its 1 am and I just got home...been alooooooong day...spoke with the nurse tonight...he's scheduled to be released in the morning....just have to talk with the doctor in the AM cause he is still getting pain and burning sensations in his leg and now arms...and getting really tired with not hardly any excertion at all...I do think its just him getting adjusted to all the medications they have him on, but I still want to talk to the doctor about it. The tests came back fine, no blood clots THANK GOD that had me worried, and the tear is the same, not worse, not better ...stable. He seems to be at a pretty steady, very low blood pressure, which is how they want it to be. Anyway I feel alot more relieved today and I do think this time he will be coming home!!!!!!!!! Im going to bed now cause Ill be dragging tomorrow if I dont,  just wanted to share the good news!

Thanks everyone for all the support!!! I drank LOTS of water that day, closed the door to my office,unsnapped the old bra, rolled down the waistband on my pants, took 2 Gax-X and laid down on the rug in my office for about 15 minutes.  That seemed to get the gas movin' down the ole pipes and up the hatch, too, so after a few burps and you-know-whats, I did feel a little better.  (This was not a pretty picture!!  I'm glad none of my employees walked in on me!) I got up, snapped up my parafanailia and drank some more.  Then I walked some through the halls.  After about 3 hours, I did feel better.  Whew!  I'll never drink another Diet Soda again!  I called the doctor and asked for pain medication because I was in agony....Crap, they acted like I was an addict who was trying to put one over on them....Sheez!  The first time I've asked for some good stuff and I get the old skeptical evil eye over the phone crabby-pants receptionist who made me feel like a crack addict!  Anyway, I've been okayl ever since.  I have also been trying to eat gluten-free foods to see if maybe I have developed an adversion to wheat products since some carbs seem to give me trouble.  I'll just keep taking my Gas-X and trying to watch what I eat!

I think it's great news that your husband is coming home.  I'm sure that things will be OK, but if you are thinking that it's too soon, ask to keep your husband in the hospital.  Do the doctors know how far away you are from ambulance service?  How about Medivac?  Is there helicopter service?  If not, maybe make a contingency plan that if you have to call an ambulance, you and your husband can start driving in their direction and meet them half way.   If you're really, really not comfortable being so far away, can you get a hotel near the hospital and have a "get away" weekend?  I bet your husband wants to get home so he might not be open to that.  Part of my job calls for "risk management" so I try to always have a "plan B", but I guess that was probably obvious. 

Having said all that, I bet things are going to be fine and you get to enjoy your hubby at home.  Be well and I'll keep praying at my end.

 They won't release him unless they are sure he is O.K. Take one step at a time. Get him Home & take care of him like I know you will. Everything will be fine. I will keep
you both in prayer & please give yourself some down-time so you don't end up in
the hospital with him.
