Topic: Feeling Worthless/Breakdown last night!!
Hi All
Had a major breakdown last night all the garbage hit bottom & through a major fit over
all of it!!
Feeling so worthless over being unemployed so long
No money to help with any bills
Wanting to move out of the living situation I am currently in & can't due to the no job thing.
Lowell has been great, but, just don't want to be here with him, anymore.
I am on more drugs for BP & diabetis & stress. That has a lot to do with this breakdown as the new drugs get into my system. I hate taking all these pills again & needed to vent here.
I did go to a support group meeting the other night & that was a good thing. We just
recently started a new one in the area. Haven't had on for a long time.
Take care & thanks for letting me vent here!! I will be back to myself in a day or 2.

Start out slow & do low-impact stuff for your first visit. Don't over due it & work up to
a longer work-out at a later visit. Take a cheese stick or something like that with you, so if you start feeling like one is coming on you can eat something quick & avoid it!!
I went to a support group meeting the other night for the first time in a long time & one of the ladies that is 9 yrs out & looks great. Eats every 3 hours & for her it works & she looks & feels great. She is now in her 70's & only does low-impact exercise due
to lots of arthritis problems. She eats very small amounts at those 3 hrs, but, you might
try it!!
Hang in there!! You will be fine if you start out slow & don't try & do too much in the beginning.
Love ya

Just wanted you guys to know I'm not ignoring you. Been one of those crazy weeks. Weekend before last, made a crazy drive across country with my sister. Left late Friday night, drove through the night and West of Albuquerque found the roads closed due to 10 ft snow drifts. Doubled back and headed North. Zig Zagged across Colorado, Kansas and Missouri, headed North in Illinois and got dropped off at the airport in Chicago just in time to catch my plane back to Phoenix on Sunday and go to work Monday morning.
Dropped my phone in the toilet. Went to get online to see about getting a new one and the laptop was dead.
Things mellowed out for the next couple of days until I was rear ended on the highway. There was some furniture on the road and everyone stopped except the car behind me. Lots of drama, police cars, Firetrucks, paramedics, etc. Honda has a new car called the Accordian.
Got out of the hospital last night and no sooner had we come in and closed the door when there was a knock. The Man answered the door and stepped out on the porch. The next thing I know, he's grabbing badge and gun and heading out the front door while uniformed cops and dogs are running through the house and out the back door.
Where are you going?!?!? What the hell's going on?
Stay down you'll be safe!
I did stay down on the kichen floor. No easy feat with a back injury, but getting up was even tougher. When the shouting (and thankfully no shooting) was over, it turns out that the house behind me was a coyote house. Human smugglers from Mexico. Here's a link for the news story and video. http://www.azfamily.com/news/homepagetopstory/stories/glenda le-local-news-040609-drop-house.aab3b654.html
Just wait, one of these days I'm going to come on here and report that everything is normal and sane in my world. I'll probably be 90, but it's going to happen.

Ok I'm feeling good. I'm feeling very good. Now its time to get the ball rolling with e4xcersize.
I am terrified,.
scared to death of excersing cause i' mfeeling so good.
i'm afraid that if i work out i'm going to have an episode of the low blood sugar. im feeling so good tha ti don't want one of those again. i know that someday i ve3ry well can get more of them. i'm healing but it never goes totally away. i've got to coninute to eat corre4ctly and even then i could have one if i forget my snacks or if i have more stress then what my body can handle at the time.
so i'm a 56 year old big baby afraid to excersize.
geesh.
gonna have to bite the bullet and just do it.
maybe if i set a time frame that i decide. like tonight i will go to the gym.
can i do it?
cross your fingers and toes and say alittle prayer to help give me some strength!
please.
thank u.

I actually miss those days. The weight just fell off. I have a few friends going for lap band, and I stress the fact that there IS a honeymoon period and that it DOES wear off. 2 bites and you're full...God I loved that!

Topic: Five Years ago today
Five years ago today I had been home for a night. I ventured out of my condo to walk to the mailbox. The mailbox is a 5 second walk it took me 15 minutes. On the way back I wanted so much to sit but there wasn't anywhere to do that!
I bumped into a neighbor who hadn't seen me while i was in the hospital. Since no one knew where I had been and I looked just awful! she came running to me upset and wanted to know if ther was anything she could do and how i was. i toldher i had surgery. I din't say what kind,. She asked if i was going to be alright.
when i saw her again 2 weeks later (my condo community stays to themselves) she gasped. I was down 35 pounds. even though i looked much better i still lookede washed out and with that drastic a weight loss in such a short time she was very worried about what kind of surgery i had had. i told her then cause i was getting that reaction from alot of people.
Remember the hair loss? I thought for sure I was going to be bald.when mine grew back in grew in curly! now 5 years later it has straightened out alot but still has some body to it.
