O thanks guys its nice of you all to read and send such nice replys back. we all kick in and help each other. its a good feeling.
its neat cause we don't always post about our weight i've read posts about a lot of things that are not weight related. we are a sounding board for just about everything.
I have a new territory with the paper that I work for. Its a wonderful coastal town and I'm enjoying working there very much. i grew up in the area so its fun to see all these places that i remember some are still there from before! the people are nice and the items they sell! Lord they are well out of my budget!
but i did get the MOST wonderful designer dress today on a clearance rack!!!!! it was a $400 dress that I pain 100 for. Its a clasic that I can wear to weddings or partys or a nice dinner out. I've not had such a nice dress in a long time. What was really cool is that it is made big! so it was ONLY a size medium!!!!! hahaha I think taht sold me on it more than anything else! hahaha No its a very nice pretty dress. well worth the money.
I won' tspend that much on something unless its something that I'm going to use. Granted its not one of those things that I'd wear to work but it is something that will never go out of style and if I wanted to sell it at a consignment shop they'd get more for it than what I paid.

yes Marilyn I've had bifocals for many years. I love them I always get th eonews that do not have the line that shows.
The reason why I got a separate pair of reading glasses is that it is very difficult to read with the bifocals when i' mlaying down. which is what I do in bed each night before I go to sleep. The reading part is on the bottom so I have to tip my head back it gives me a neck ache hurts it even more since i'd had the car accidnet and whip lash a coupl eyears back.
the same thing happens when i use the computer. I cant see the screen that good and i have to tip my head back so far that my neck hurts argggg its a losing battle!
the reading ones work great for at night in bed. I was so comfortabellast night using them. I'm not able to use them for the computer cause the computer is farther away than what you would hold a book. My sister has computer glasses. they make them just right for how far awya the screen is. Next time I get new glasses I'll get a pair of those!
I didn' trealize how much difference my eyes were with the new pair. I could see much better today!
