Reenie....my former husband of 17 years, Rachael and Jimmy's biological dad died...Bill, my current husband is thier stepdad, he is the the one who had the aeorta dissection....he's not well, but he's sloooowly making improvements.

Sounds like a great time!! I know I miss spending play time with my dogs & still think of
them daily. I so wish I could have them back & never had to give them up. Still hurts
big time. Animals love so unconditionally, it's wonderful.

Good to hear from you Sunshine!! Glad that Things are improving somewhat. Sounds
like still busy,but, are we not all these days. Even not working still have lots of stresses
in my life I could sure live without. Yesterday, had to buy 2 tires because one sick
Ass@#$ decided on last Saturday to flatten my tires 3 of them. (pretty sure of who)
The sidewalls were damaged, probably sliced, & could not be repaired or hold air, so had to buy tires
that we could have spent $225 on the power or rent. I am glad you are doing O.K
& thanks for your update & smile. Keep watch of those kids, depression is always
a scary thing specially in kids. Adults don't deal with it very well either, but, kids seem
to take stuff much harder.

Hi Reenie....thank you...you asked about Rachael...its the combination...her dad's sudden death, her stepdad who is like her dad being so sick, the carjacking, and just graduating HS and not being sure where her life is going has just worn her out mentally which is totally understandable...sheesh a grown person would collaspe by now youde think. Im watching her closely and she seems to responding well to the medication and doing ok for now. As for her future....we just got a letter from the Dept of Rehabilatation throught the State and she falls into the highest catagory, so they will help her with career training, counsoling, planning and placement, which is the answer to my prayers....I know now she will make it and will have a future. I applied for that a few weeks before she got out of HS and just heard back from them...I am soooooo relieved....I knew she was learning disabled but wasnt sure if she would get into the program but she did....its sorta sad but a blessing too.

Whew, I'm so relieved to hear how well Bill is doing. Is Rachael's depression a response to her Dad's medical issues? Or is it high school related, didn't she recently graduate? What are her plans? These issues are so tough, Kim - trying to evolve with the changing terrain that is being a mother, being wife, being a healthy and whole individual. That sounds nice....you need to post some pictures of Laela for me to see she sounds sooo sweeet. I really miss my old horse...some days I just wish she was still around and we could just do what we used to do....ride forever, just the two of us...I really miss that.
