Topic: RE: I accidently ate sugar!!!
Well I survived it. I did eat the entire carton, but I will definitely be more careful. I did not dump, but I do think I had a panic attack.
The yogurt had 19 grams of sugar (quite a bit). It did have strawberries, but one of the ingredients was sugar, so I knew I made a mistake. And yes, I am supposed to watch labels for sugar and high fructose corn syrup.

Topic: i hate to wait

Topic: RE: Is anyone going through this?
Not only do I feel dizzy but after walking I feel like someone is pushing down on my shoulders. It's pressure to my upper body. It's scary, but my surgeon readmitted me for 2 days and did alot of blood work, sonograms of my legs and catscans of my chest to make sure it wasn't a pulonary embloisim. Everything came back neg. they say I'm just dehydrated. I dont understand why I drink 3-4 bottles 16.9 oz each a day. It aint getting better what do I do.

Topic: RE: PCOS and stall already? do i need my metformin
I know how frustrating it is. The last 3 days I have only gone down .4 and .2 lbs each day. I am hoping it is the stall they talk about and jjust not how my body is going to be. I get tempted also to take met, but I don't want to become hypoglycemic either. Some people have weird reactions to low blood sugar, so it's better not to do that unless you are testing your blood sugar and know what's normal for you. With PCOS we don't have to do that, so I plan on just waiting and seeing. I hope it picks up though for us both!
I didn't know the PCOS board had been slow. I have met some ladies on there who are both recent RNYers or had it several years ago. They all seem to be doing good and losing the weight, so I think maybe it's just the early post-surgery jitters and doubts that lots of people have. Or at least I hope that's it.
Have a losing week!

Topic: RE: Stall at 1.5 weeks post op???????
Well, that little drop was short lived for some reason, but it is gone again now. I am only weighing once per week now and I have increased my exercise somewhat, but the trainer that works with my surgical group said I can't do too much until i am at least 4 weeks post op. That won't be until next week. So until then I'll keep following the program, and hopefully you'll be right that my body will catch up at some point. Congratulations to both you and your wife. Ya'll are doing awesome!

Topic: RE: Is anyone going through this?
I am having this problem as well. I went to work last week and got real light headed and dizzy. After talking with my PCP, I decided to take another week off. My PCP told me that maybe I was dehydrated. So I bought a sports timer, I carry it around my neck and every fifteen minutes I drink 2-3 oz. Just went back to work again and have no more dizzy spells. I'm having a difficult time with water (cold or room temp) and his asst. mentioned to add "crystal light to go" to the water and that seemed to help. Otherwise I have very little energy. I am trying to walk more often and see if that helps. But I believe that it is a short time situation. I think eventually it will pass. I have lost 35 lbs since my surgery 03/19/2007. I have been between 32-35lbs for the last 7 days. Please let me know if your energy situation gets any better.
