Topic: RE: Curves????
In another lifetime I once belonged to Curves for 2 years. It's a neat little program that gets you moving all of your body parts. Since only a certain amount of people can go around the circuit at one time, it becomes like a little family type feel there - which is very nice. It does not have that impersonal atmosphere like a big gym has.
On the other hand, the routine became somewhat boring, though it could be because my friend dropped out. If you have a buddy it's great because the time flies.
There is much more variety in a bigger gym which I had left for.(All the good it did me!)LOL
The bottom line is if you are now doing no exercises and no walking, join up today.

Topic: Is anyone going through this?
I am now 3 wks post op. I no longer have pain. But...I have no energy. I'm having trouble walking because everytime I try it ,I feel like I might fall. I feel extremely weak. By the time I finish taking a bath I'm really out of breath. Please, is anyone going through this. So far I've lost 30 lbs.
Topic: RE: I accidently ate sugar!!!
Do not worry about it. I was told that the sugar from dairy and fruits is ok. It's good to make sure the sugar is low in all your foods, but one time won't hurt you. However, you should avoid sugar if you ended up with dumping syndrome after eating the yogurt. So far I haven't had anything like that.

Congratulations! You have done great work as it's not usually possible to lose that much weight the first month. You must be doing something right! Hopefully Jodell can follow in your footsteps.
My weight loss has slowed. I find it really hard to do much as I wear out quickly, otherwise I would be exercising more. I got out for a walk today since it was nice, but I'm ready for a nap. Hopefully it gets better son. I'm down 16lbs since 3/20 surgery.

Topic: RE: Protein Drinks....
I found it at the Vitamin Shoppe after I'd heard about it. I bought a ready made bottle of the few Protein type meaning they have 40 grams of protein each vs maybe 20 grams. I liked the blue raspberry and the passion fruit best. The icy orange was ok. Haven't tried the apple yet as the almost fluorescent green color is a bit of a turn off. Good luck w/ this.
Topic: Dave's lost 49 pounds!!
Just wanted to give everyone an update on how I'm doing. I've now lost 49 pounds, and still going. I'm very excited about my weight loss so far. I'm swimming in most of the pants I used to wear, and the pants that used to be too tight to wear now are baggy, and quite comfortable. I'm contemplating going and buying some more clothes, but I think I'm going to try to hold out until a few days before I go back to work.
Jodell is starting to feel better (her surgery was on 3/27). She's already lost 16 pounds. We are losers together!!!

Topic: RE: burping and hiccups?
Necole I started out having problem drinking protein as well. I just took my time and just spped until I was full. I mean us stomach should only hold about 2 to 4 ozs right now but as you drink you will eventually be able to drink more. Right now just drin****il you full then drink more later.
