Hi Mo, I am still trying them out myself but I have found that I like the 50 ram slam from GNC. I get mine in in the Banana and Creme flavor. I did see that they have cookies and creme but I am scared to try that one. Necole

I just switched to Pepcid Complete since it's chewable. I find that it is helping me. What I am having a problem with is being able to drink a whole protein shake. I found two that I can tolerate 50 gram slam and Muscle Milk. I do get the burps but not as much as I did in the beginning but I figured out that when it is continual it is because I have ate too fast. Later Necole

RELAX! Seriously, sit down somewhere quiet, let your breathing stabalize and relax. You may or may not get sick, time will tell. Worse case scenario is you might throw up, feel naseous, sweat, feel dizzy/light-headed. But seriously, try to keep yourself calm - anxiety makes it worse! Call your doctor's office if you start really freaking out. Good luck! Don't beat yourself up about it - we all make mistakes! Nicole

Help! I just ate some yogurt that said "all natural" etc etc. I just looked closely at the ingredients and it has sugar. I'm all sweaty and nervous. What can I do?

Hey Britt, There are still days where I don't feel like eating anything! I could never do the protein shakes either they tasted terrible! I told my doctor this and he said that was it was ok that it is actually better to get your protein from food anyways! I think the easiest things for me were cottage cheese, string cheese and yougurt! I would definately talk to your dr because there are medications he can prescribe for nausea so you won't feel sick to your stomach because it is important especially since you can't tolerate the protein shakes to be eating enough everyday! well good luck and keep me posted! I must be slow at this eating thing. I am so afraid to dump or throw up. I ate 3 tablespoons of cream of chicken, 1/4 cup of refried beans for lunch, same for dinner, they had some salsa and a pinch of cheese on it. I have had not protien drink today I just could not get it down. I had a SF popcicle sorry can't spell. I drank 50 oz. of water. I feel sick all the time to my stomach. does anyone else do this. I had to stop taking my Iron too b/c it was making me to sick. Feel free to write me. Britt

Late replys help too. I still have alot to learn about this lap band. I thought I had researched it so through that I new all the answers. Went to a support group meeting last night. I got so much out of it that I think I am on the right track now. I did lose the 6 puonds plus 3/4 more so the dr was not angery with me. So the next time I wont be as parnoid. I did not know it sometimes took several fills for it to really start to work. so thank you for your imput it all helps really Illinois girl

Thank you I did lose the weight. I went on the semi soft foods that were very high protein. I exercised alot and when i went to the dr yrsterday I lost a total of 3/4 pounds plus the 6 pound gain got a 1 cc fill and doing great today I go back In May. Thank from Illinois

I tolerated eggs very well, and yes, everyone is different...this is what I've tolerated. scrambled very soft egg w cheese, deviled egg (yum yum) cottage cheese, my snack wud be a slice of low fat cheese. Just be real careful what you eat because 3 days out I ate a low fat carb bar by breyers made w splenda, I did'nt read into it enough and there were other sweetners in it that made me HAVE DUMPING SYNDROME ...You defintiley do not want to experience that.
